The sausage was slightly warm. The raspberry iced tea was nasty. They can do a lot better or either closed out. What’s the point in being open if you wanna serve, have good food.

Looking for lunch and again here was J. Christopher's. Walked in, seated quickly and drink order taken. Lots of tables available. Had the Blueberry Crunch Cakes with Oven Roasted Potatoes (hash browns not fried). Food was up pretty quick, nice and hot and enjoyable. Coffee was not bad, but weak for me. I like coffee in my coffee. The rest of service was great. Staff was good.

Parking: Easy in and out. Lots of spaces available.

I really wanted to like this place. I passed it many times and made a mental note to try. Finally we did. The atmosphere is pleasant enough and the staff was courteous and attentive. The grits were the only thing that I would recommend. Creamy, flavorful and I didn't need to add anything. The rest of food was definitely LACKING. Lacking flavor, lacking hot temperature, and lacking cooking. I ordered a omelette. The vegetables were totally uncooked. They must have added the chopped veggies into the egg and folded and served. The onions were raw and crunchy as well as the rest of the ingredients. What happened to a saute? No flavor or seasoning. Salt and pepper didn't help. To top it off food was cold! The english muffin was cold as well. The butter I put on, sat on top. No chance of melting at all. Dissatisfied and disappointed.

My recent experience at the Duluth J Christopher's was excellent. The service was efficient and accurate thanks to Monique. The fact that we were a group of nearly 20 didn't make things easy but the food was delicious brunch cuisine and arrived hot and tasty.

If you're looking for a comfortable place to enjoy a dine-in breakfast that you don't have to prepare yourself this is an appropriate place. It's a classic brunch experience with less of the pomp and circumstance that many brunch restaurants curate these days. But still better than an IHOP or waffle house. Great for families. The staff was nice. The food was decent and the atmosphere was cool. A little dated, but still nice.

Went last weekend for a nice breakfast and our waitress Adriana was so attentive and so sweet! Always made sure we had everything we needed at all times. Definitely going back very soon for the great food and service!

One of the best places in Duluth for Breakfast. Ask about Veteran Discounts. Also ask for Monique, she is wonderful, makes suggestions and is always in a good mood and accommodating!

Do not eat here. The food was all messed up and cold. Never got food we ordered. Every table in the restaurant was asking for the manager. Terrible service. Manger argued with me when I asked to speak with her blaming everything on everyone else. Long wait time for food. Don’t waste your time.

First, the young man at the host stand is very kind and efficient. Second, just wanted to give a quick thank you to Ryann. When we were seated today, we waited for about 10 minutes before being asked by someone if we had been taken care of yet (.... we hadn't). She said she wasn't our server but that she'd gladly take our order so we wouldn't have to wait any longer. We paid some attention to her and saw that she was taking care of a whole counter of people AND some booths and still took time out of what she was doing to make sure we were taken care of. Also, the Eggs Benedict was 10/10, we love their breakfast potatoes.

I rated 2 for cleanliness other than that food was not appetizing at all. I ordered the turkey sausage platter with side of cheese grits the grits had no butter neither did egg whites and nothing on the plate had any seasoning tried adding my own and it still didn’t work needles to say I left everything on my plates except the side of potatoes. My wife only ate the grits. I let my waitress know and she didn’t even bother getting manager. This was My first time here and it definitely will be my last. The meal wasn’t worth $31 dollars at all

We love coming here for breakfast or brunch. The food portions are good and it’s always tasty. Over the years, I’ve realized the worst day to come is Mothers Day ? (better make reservations).. We enjoy it.

Haven't been to this location in many years. We were running errands in the area, and decided to revisit. We had two skillets of eggs, roasted potatoes, cornbeef hash, cheesy grits, and a pancake to share. The service and the food was outstanding. Highly recommend this restaurant and location!

Unfortunately I did not have a great experience. My expectations were diminished when the table was sticky, a huge black fly was flying around. Despite this, I cleaned the table off with my own wipes, the service was a little slow, I was given my coffee absent silverware, the fresh fruit had some crud on it which looked like same spoon maybe used for grits, the eggs were so so, and the best part of my service was the toast. I left and saw other table had fresh fruit so maybe it was my turn to get the not so fresh fruit, but when I hit into the turkey sausage and saw it tasted rancid, and not so fresh I knew I’d been better off going to the nearby Waffle House which I heard was great. Hope you all have a better experience. The booths are a little old and some worn and torn. I saw an older couple that had been waiting a little longer than me. Usually elders are on a schedule so be mindful of this when servicing them. My server was trying to keep up, some of the other workers double working one table following each other could be used to service those waiting.I still tipped the server a small tip because I know how important this is. Management should be mindful of the current reviews. Great location.
