Their Galbi and tofu soup are the best! They have pretty good portion of the meat (not too thin) and very favorable. They also served individual ban-chan (side dishes) which you can ask for another round. They have a good service and pretty fast in serving the food. The restaurant itself has an authentic vibe that you can’t complain!

I use to love this place, but I will never be coming back. Today is my friend’s birthday so we picked this place and everything turned out bad. I was very disappointed with the service and the food. We ordered the total of 5 dish, and one of them turned out wrong. We had ordered chicken teriyaki but they brought out beef bulgogi instead. So we thought that it replaced the chicken teriyaki, so we were ok with it. It is still a similar dish, just different type of meat. But we were still waiting for the last dish to come out. It is one of their popular dish, the pork wrap, but it was taking forever, so I called the server to check on it. When the server came, she was confused as to what we ordered and had us going back and forth with 2-3 other servers. One of the servers said the beef bulgogi is the one we ordered and became visibly upset when we pointed out the mistake and we told her no we didn’t order any beef bulgogi, we thought it was the chicken teriyaki that was brought out wrong but we are ok with it and I told her we even showed her a picture on the menu of the dish that we wanted. And then the server that originally took our order checked the ticket and said the chicken teriyaki is coming out soon. Because we thought that the beef bulgogi had replaced the chicken teriyaki, we started eating it, and then the server said because we already started to eat it, we would have to make another order if we wanted the pork wrap. So we are all confused and i said no no we did show you picture that was on the menu. Anyway, in the end she took it back and brought out the right dish, but we were speechless🤦🏻‍♀️ 😐—————each slice of pork is very thick and dark. We had order this dish a few times before and it never looked like this.

We ordered catering for 6 people paid around $150 for just the meat but these portions seem to be the same and only for 4 people. I understand inflation and I am not price sensitive. I just didn’t appreciate the way they spoke to my mother insisting she was being dishonest about her complaint. Here is the picture. One container is supposed to be for 4 people and the other is for 2 but they are exactly the same portions.. will be going to kangs kitchen from now on. Lost loyal customers of 30 years.

I ordered:

48. Seafood soup with flour noodles: Pretty bland with barely any seafood. 4/10

72. Bossam: It was fine, something had an off sour smell, but it tasted okay. 7/10

55. King beef short ribs (3 servings): 5/10
I feel scammed, I ordered this one Togo.
For $80, I expected a lot more. It was mostly radish and short rib bones with barely any meat. The flavor was just meh — overly sweet and disappointing overall.

The service was attentive and friendly, and the ambiance is nice too. This is probably my eighth time eating here, and I’ve never really had any complaints before. It’s usually pretty decent overall. But the $80 “King” short ribs were bad enough for me to leave a review. Save your money and order something else.

Price for the food quantity and flavor authenticity is amazing. If I'm nitpicking, some of the panchan as a cold dish isn't cold enough- imagine your ice water being mild. Overall very nice for Korean food in ATL, but my experience wasn't the best they could offer- probably due to my awkward time of visit (around 4:30pm)

The food was incredibly delicious, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable, unlike their Alpharetta location, which is quite pricey for the amount of food you receive. Despite the restaurant being extremely busy, there was ample staff to ensure that everyone was taken care of and received prompt attention. Definitely make reservation.

The beef rib lunch box is really tasty. The only con is that their included salad looks like there’s dirt on it, everything else is very good

Participated in the Explore Gwinnett Seoul of the South food tour and this was our first stop and wow was it awesome. It was great to explore the variety of side and main dishes served and as it was explained to us by the guide Sarah, this was a great example of Korean homemade comfort food. My fav was the seafood pancake and pork belly

Been going here on/off for years. New Waitress insisted we ordered something we did not….we took it anyways as we didn’t want to cause a scene. No eggs with Soon tofu either? There’s no bird shortage now! Service gone down or new waitresses don’t care like the old ones did.
