The food here is delicious, kind of on the more pricey side, but in my opinion, it's definitely worth it.

I frequently visit this restaurant whenever I'm craving authentic, traditional Korean homemade soups and comforting dishes that evoke the flavors of home. There’s something incredibly endearing about this place—its humble, unpretentious charm and the warm, welcoming atmosphere make you feel as if you’re dining at a family member’s home. The service here is also something special; it’s reminiscent of the care and attention you’d receive from a beloved aunt, with staff who genuinely make you feel at ease.
During our recent visit, we ordered the 우거지 해장국 (beef and cabbage hangover soup), paired with a bottle of Soju, setting the tone for a deeply meaningful evening. We were there to reflect on the memories of a close friend who had recently passed away. The rich, earthy flavors of the soup, with its tender beef and perfectly seasoned broth, brought us not only comfort but also a sense of togetherness as we shared stories, laughter, and emotions.

The meal, coupled with the warm atmosphere, allowed us to indulge fully in both the food and our conversation, creating a poignant yet cathartic experience. Even though we were soaked from sweats, it only added to the mood as we savored each spoonful, almost as if the delicious, hearty food was helping to wash away our sorrows, if only for a brief moment.
This restaurant continues to be a place where I not only enjoy delicious meals but also find solace and a sense of peace in the comforting atmosphere. It has become more than just a dining spot—it's a sanctuary for reflection and meaningful connections.

Been here 5-6x while in and out of the city.
Most of Gwinnett's standard of Korean food has declined recently with the exception of a few restaurants. This is one.

If you have a Daegu-style palette, spend your time here. This place is loaded with old heads for their approach to traditional dishes with a traditional taste (pre-80's). This is not your usual Korean spot that some people are used to. Take your parents and grandparents here.

Great ambiance. Classic Korean restaurant vibes. If you need something, speak up. You're here to vibe and eat fantastic food. Don't be shy. Leave your ego out the door. You're here for the food. If you want to be buttered up with modern service.. look you're at a HQ traditional food restaurant. You see that paradox? Fix that mentality. Lol. Best 은대구조림 (Eundaegu Jorim) in the county. Quote me on that.

The menu was varied and all were delicious.
This time I ordered raw cod soup.
The portion was large enough to have leftovers, and it tasted really good.
When I go with my son, we each order a menu and separately order grilled seodae, and the grilled seodae is always consistently savory. Fish is especially prone to spoilage in the summer, but here it is always fresh and there is no fishy smell.
I wasn't able to take a picture because I was busy eating.

There were only 6 pieces of seolleongtang meat, and it smelled like stale meat had been thawed from the freezer. The noodles were overcooked and I was really angry.
A place you shouldn't go to

Had the chicken soup
The ingredients inside such as the prune, garlic and ginseng was too small. So small it was hard to find. Taste was just alright.

Solid korean restaurant. I've never dined-in. Always takeout. Nice to order, get a haircut, and then pick up the food to go.Their food is solid, never had anything I didn't like. Usually I opt for the Sullungtang and the Soondae Guk Bap to go. The portions are large enough I usually get 2 meals out of each soup. Their Yukgejang and Haejangguk are both solid. Slightly unique take on flavor but I like it.In general anything here is likely to be good.
