I love the ramen at this place. I usually get the vegetarian which is great. All the other fkavors are also nice and tasty. I never had any issues at any of their locations although this time we got charged for an item we didn't get in Duluth. The girl apologized but we don't want to wait to get a new corrected bill.

We love ramen, we love jinya, but this was our first time at Jinya Duluth, it was very disappointing. .we ordered 2 tonkatsu black and spicy chicken ramen. It was awful, tasted nothing. We tried add soy sauce but didnt help. Just ate the chicken only left the rest. Our server was great, it was just the food was terrible. We told the server our food was taste nothing.

Stopped in for lunch because my partner had a taste for ramen.
There was literally no wait. We walked in and escorted to our seats.
Our server was amazing!!! She was polite, patient and friendly.
The food was really good! We ordered the small Impossible rice bowl, the Flying Vegan Harvest bowl. But not before ordering the Miso Glazed Eggplant, impossible gyoza and Buffalo cauliflower as starters. It’s hard to choose just one with so many good looking options.
Also, I wanted to try the Ringo Mule and it was pretty tasty. I’d recommend it. Kudos to the bartender.
The atmosphere received 3 stars because one of the employees was sweeping near people eating. I haven’t worked in the food industry in a long time, but I sure know not to sweep while patrons are eating. Dust and dirt particles fly through the air when using a broom, which could land in people food. Just unsanitary.
Saw a lot of staff fraternizing with each other and the whole time, the bathroom was a disaster. I walked in and was shocked actually. Didn’t expect tissue and paper towel all over the floor, an overflowing trash can, and no soap to wash hands.
If the sweeping employee wanted to sweep something, she definitely could’ve swept the bathroom floor.
However, I enjoyed JINYA. I appreciate how they have vegetarian/vegan options available. Who doesn’t like a restaurant with options for everybody?

The kids meal was surprising a lot of food, and I ordered the original tonkasu 1990 ramen and it was very tasty but way too much favor and food. Both my daughter and myself actually enjoyed the kids meal ramen. I would go again for sure

The Tonkotsu black ramen used to be excellent but now it's bland. What's going on, I guess i better go get tonkotsu ramen black at Shoya instead from now on.

The food and service is always great, but this one visit I had in particular, I forgot my wallet in the booth and our waiter ran outside to the parking lot and handed it to me before we left. That was very nice of her to go out of her way and reach me when I was already out by my car.

My first time going to Jinya, the food was great and also my drink (Ringo mule). The waitress that attend me was nice although during the end of my meal it felt like she was rushing me to pay my tab, coming up to my table multiple times in less then - span of 5 mins. I’m assuming her shift was ending at that time, so I didn’t really get to enjoy my drink which is way I’m giving the service a 4 star. I hope it’ll be different next time I come.
