We hadn't been to Kurt's in a number of years, but having recently been in Germany, we had a hankering for some schnitzel so we decided to go and we were not disappointed! Our waiter was phenomenal, charming, funny, personable, knowledgeable. And while the specials all sounded wonderful and the pork shank that went by looked amazing, we were pretty singularly focused. The potato pancake appetizer didn't disappoint, with both applesauce and sour cream for those who are torn. My husband had the veal schnitzel, a huge portion over yummy spätzle, and it was outstanding, lightly sauteed, deliciously seasoned, lemon on the side. Perfect. I had the "Kurt's special" - the goulash over the spätzle and it was equally huge, incredibly flavorful and the spätzle soaked up the stew juices in the most delicious way. Between these two amazing dishes, two dunkels (dark beers) for my husband and a yummy German sangria for me (also quite good), we didn't think we could fit another bite in but we were convinced to try the homemade chocolate gelato in an almond cup and we were so glad we did! The rich chocolate flavor of the gelato topped with house made whipped cream was the perfect compliment to the incredible main dishes. We left with full doggie bags and can't wait to go back! It definitely won't be as long between visits next time!

Quantity and quality of the food was fabulous. We had two young foodies with us who had never been here before and they were impressed. Price was appropriate for the experience.

The food and service were impeccable. One of our favorite restaurants. We were there for my husband's birthday. My husband loved the smoked pork chops. I had a NY Strip steak. Both were cooked perfectly. The red cabbage is so delicious.

Great authentic German restaurant! Even the servers look authentic. Nice ambience. A little pricey but worth it once in a while. The jagerschnitzel is fabulous and the spaetzle!. They brought us a delicious dessert for my husband's birthday without us asking.

I was looking for a classic European food restaurant with a traditional atmosphere reminiscent of visiting the old country and this place did not disappoint. Traditional Bavarian and German dishes were on the menu making it hard to choose what to get. I ordered the split pea soup with fresh baked bread and butter. Followed that up with a meat dish that had a few different pork cuts including real bacon and sauerkraut with a bratwurst and mashed potatoes. Somehow I found the room for some Bavarian chocolate cake. Washed it all down with an Octoberfest draft beer. Highly recommend this place and I’ll be back when I’m in town again.

This was a first visit for our family. My son wanted to celebrate his birthday with fondue, so we had that as well as sausage and cabbage for our appetizer. Our entrees were excellent, and Laura did a fantastic job guiding us to our selections.

Everything about Kurt's is great. Quiet, pleasant ambiance. Great food. I had shrimp/scallops over papardelle and my sweetie had veal schnitzel. Service was friendly and excellent.
Just a great restaurant.

Food and service was great. The problem was the people sitting behind me. They kept hitting the back of their booth all meal long. I could have asked to move but I didn't as they had two kids with them. I wish folks would be more considerate of others. The last thing was you didn't have your potato soup again. It's the best.

Kurt's typically impressive standards of service were not met during our visit. While the culinary was outstanding, our server's performance was characterized by awkwardness and inattention to detail, including delayed clearance of the table and neglected water refills. Upon notification, the server surprisingly chose to prepare another table instead of addressing our water needs. Additionally, they rudely interrupted our conversation to share personal anecdotes about their knowledge of beer. Consequently, we decided to forgo in-restaurant dessert and take it home instead.

Wonderful service from the waitstaff, although it took a few minutes to get checked out. The food was delicious - sauerbraten and weinerschnitzel. We substituted different side items with our meals with no problem and no uncharge. They have an extensive wine list with a wide range of price points. We enjoyed the luxury of sitting in a roomy private both with curtains that could be drawn for privacy and it was very cozy with a low noise level in there.
