Amazing staff and great food. 10/10
The was pretty average. The pot stickers and soup dumplings were doughy. The spring rolls tasted fishy.
Delicious food, made fresh (10-20 minutes to make ready). I’ve been here 4-5 times for their dim sum. Thank you!
This was my first time ordering here and I had high hopes since they had what I was craving for and also great reviews related to the food and service. I only ordered 1 pan fried pork bun and I was told by the server it’ll be ready around 20 to 25 minutes- cool no worries. It took 45 minutes to almost ONE HOUR for me to receive my singular order of pan fried dumplings. Mind you, families upon families ordered not too long after me and they received their food FIRST! I’m not sure what went wrong, but I felt that they were prioritizing only the DINE IN orders instead of balancing it with the carry out orders. I also felt that when I checked on the status of my food (after 30 minutes later) that’s when they FINALLY started on my order. The baos were great, but they are not THAT great to be waiting 45 minutes to an hour for.
Great buns!
The best soup dumplings I've had since being in NYC. Definitely the best in ATL.
Everything we've had has been great.
Looking forward to stopping by again.
Wow where do I begin to rave a about this place. Lao Wei Dao is one of the best places in Atlanta i have tried to get fresh hand made variations of dumplings. The pork bao soup buns are amazing. The pork dumplings along with chili oil on the side are so good a nice soft chewy texture. The beef and scallion pancakes are a meal in its self. The pork shrimp wonton soup was loaded with juicy large dumplings. I highly recommend to come and try this place before trying any other dim sum restaurants in Atlanta. The price you pay for freshly hand made dumplings here is unmatched. If Icould rate this place it would be 10 🌟's.
We ordered 4 things, overall everything is fresh and delicious. Shrimp wonton, noodle soup with garlic sauce, spring roll and pan fried bun.
Wow! Their beef noodle soup is wayyy better than lao zhao in doraville!
First time eating here and the xiao long bao and beef noodle soup did not disappoint at all! The warm broth and beef were so delicious and noodles very filling. The crab soup dumplings were tastier than the pork but both very good! The lady who was working there was friendly and kind too.

My favorite place for Shanghainese food, great soup dumplings and pan fried dumplings.
Very tasty!
Tasted so great!!! Great customer service!!!
The front lady is always smiley and nice. Their food is very tasty and consistent. We’ve been to this place since they just opened.
It was 28 degrees outside this past Sunday, and I fully intended to get some dim sum from this place that I heard had great reviews. But then I saw the beef noodle soup and my heart was SOLD! And it was DIVINE! The broth tasted amazing! My two friends also got the same dish. I also purchased the soup dumplings as well and they just hit the spot. Can’t wait to get more items off the menu.
The lady at the register was so kind, and very helpful as we asked for to-go bags and containers. It was also fun peeking behind the curtain from where we were sitting and seeing the dim sum being hand made. Definitely worth coming!
