I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT!!
First of all, it is hard for me to find good restaurants to eat at because I have a seafood, shellfish, & mushroom allergy, and I also don’t eat pork or beef. I heard about this restaurant and decided to visit. The chef was nice enough to substitute its seafood taco with chicken and it was AMAZING!! I had the local salad without bacon as well and it was better than my favorite longhorn salad. My girlfriend had the porkchop and it was HUGE and she said it was SO GOOD!! The staff is warm & professsional. I even met the owner and he was so nice! If you are looking for a great place to eat at awesome prices, look no further than Local North!
Dietary restrictions: They accommodated allergies & have a menu for diet restrictions.

Went for a late lunch with some coworkers. Server was wonderful and went out of her way to accommodate our big group. For the burger and goat cheese appetizer. Both were amazing

The service was good but honestly, the food was not. Went with coworkers one got a chicken Philly, one like I’ve never seen. Instead of shaved or shredded chicken it’s sliced chicken breast strips with slices of cheese. I got a fried grouper sandwich that had absolutely no flavor and tasted like there was more breading than fish. Tasted the bun but had to open the sandwich to see if they missed the fish. It was just severely under seasoned and thin enough to get lost.

Wonderful service from happy wait staff. Food very good and delivered in a timely manner. Ambiance is a little lacking, but very adequate. Food is good enough to have a white table cloth instead of bare table tops. Only 1 handicap parking place.
They should never participate in a bar crawl ever again. They were not prepared, stating we had to be seated to get our free taco. The server never came over to us and it was absolutely chaotic, we just left. Don't participate if you can't handle the crowds.
Allen P's service at Local on North sets apart this restaurant from others in the vicinity. Ask for Allen you will be guaranteed a great dining experience.

We had the burrata, chicken francaise and scallops- I asked for garlic mashed instead of the cauliflower mash – and all were great. The burrata was good size and we had to order more toasts (which were only $2), my scallops were also generous sized portion, although they weren’t large scallops themselves. Our server was great – we were there to celebrate our “dativersary” so we took our time and had a couple drinks prior to ordering and he didn’t mind and kept an eye if our drinks were low. We asked if they could make us pickleshots (we had them on our first date) and they did! Definitely recommend. We went on a Thursday and had relatively early reservation 6:15 so we could leisurely eat before meeting friends at 8, but at that time resos probably aren’t needed.

Great seating at our outdoor table after Hurricane Helene came through. We all enjoyed the goat cheese croquet with baguette. Beet salad with salmon and polenta is a favorite. Kalamity kale salad was served with a large portion of steak. Everyone 's meal looked delicious. Great service from Kelly and the team.
The staff here is excellent. Julie was our server & she was friendly & helpful. Highly recommend goat cheese croquettes & fried grouper tacos. Would like to go back and try fried green tomatoes & the salads.
My wife and I found this spot today for Sunday Brunch and it was fantastic! I had the Short Rib Hash and my wife had the Salmon Benedict. A fabulous cocktail and Creme Brulee for dessert. Service was also great!
Great experience and location.

I recently hosted a business dinner for 12 here and the experience was exceptional from booking to post event support. Erick made the reservation process quick and painless, with a deposit required due to the size of our party which is common practice in my experience.
The venue was prepared for our arrival with fast, friendly service from Sloan and team. The atmosphere is a comfortable blend of relaxed and upscale, with a nice vibe that was never so loud that it made table conversation difficult to hear which was perfect for a dinner to unwind a bit after a day of long meetings.
Interesting cocktail menu and wine list. The smoked old fashioned is worth trying if you're into bourbon cocktails. Appetizers and plates were all quite tasty, with some standouts being the wings (we tried lemon pepper seasoned), bruschetta, steak frites and paella. Portion sizes were generous, particularly the paella as I got an entire red snapper filet on top of the plentiful paella bowl so I felt the value was quite good for the price.
I realized the next day I made a mistake with the gratuity, but after a simple phone call Erick quickly took care of it for me no questions asked. Given the quality of the dining experience and customer service before and after, I can't help but recommend Local on North!
