Ordered a cheeseburger and the 2 slices of cheese were refrigerator cold - still stiff and rigid from being in the fridge. The slices of cheese were literally planking on the patties. Both the patties and bacon were overcooked and dry. Burger was supposed to come with sauce and I had to ask for the sauce because there was none. Finally the bread, which was good quality, but over toasted and crunchy. This cheeseburger was easily one of the worst burgers I’ve ever had. I don’t see how any cook, or establishment, would be okay serving a cheeseburger with cheese that had just come out of the refrigerator and served completely refrigerator-cold. I saw the waiter go and speak to the manager but the manager never came to acknowledge the situation. I wish he would have stop by and discussed the issue with me because the fries were AMAZING and I would have loved to go back and give the burger another try. Unfortunately, there was absolutely no acknowledgment of what happened and I don’t think any place serving refrigerator-cold cheese on a cheeseburger respects their own cooking enough to merit a second chance :(. The 1 was for the French fries, which by themselves would have been an 11 out of 5, but the unmelted-frigid-cheese cheeseburger was a -10 for me…so the overall food gets a 1.

Stopped by yesterday for my birthday/Easter lunch and when I tell you that not only was the food AMAZING the service made my day so special. I feel bad I did not get the managers name behind the bar but think it maybe Erick. He was an absolute delight to spend time with. We will definitely be back and now consider this a new go to spot. Went for burger week. Burger was ok, alittle dry, not sure what secret sauce they put on the burger as there was barely any. We sat at a table up near the door. The wall had like a stainless finish that appeared to be dirty like over time people touched it with food on their hands and it dried and no one has bothered to clean it.The bathroom had the same finish and also appeared to not be cleaned.We ordered drinks from the bar and didn't get them until we were almost finished eating.It's a small space and when everyone is talking the sound just lingers around making it really loud inside.Not sure we will go back but anywhere is worth a try one time.

I frequent thus restaurant quite often and have never had a bad experience. I go during the say when it is not very crowded. The food is delicious the Glazed pork chops and the muscles of yes the crab cakes have got to be Mt favorites. I would have take photos but I ate everything pretty quickly lol. I went in between shifts. I arrived at about 330pm. The patio looks great, they have several decorative heaters and the flower boxes are maintained. I sat at the bar and had a martini which was only served with one olive. Next I had a glass of white wine and the Barratta salad which was excellent. I believe the bartenders name was Cynthia. She came into work after my experience had started and took over the bar. After presenting my payment, she remembered my name and used it twice. Impressed!! The interior could use a good cleaning, organization and maybe its time to throw a few things out. The lack of attention to detail suggests the establishment is busy or comfortable, not lazy. The menu had a few other great dishes that I will try next time.

Honest review! I Went on a date night here last night and definitely was beyond my exceptions for it to be a small restaurant. I love the options to sit indoor/or outdoor. Sitting didn't take long. The ambience feel great. We opt for the indoor seating and sat at the high top table Our server was Christina(hope that is her name forgive me if it's not) who might I add was amazing super knowledgeable of the menu and recommend the best the best options. I'm a picky eater so this helped me out a lot. We started with the muscles that came with this soft season bread(chef kiss) and bang bang shrimp and let me tell you I was sold just by the appetizer so I knew the food was going to be Great! Let's just say the food did not disappoint at all. I went with the Grouper tacos and my fiancé went with the shrimp pasta which was also season well. You definitely get a good portions with appetizers and food. I don't think but fiancé had blueberry drink which he said was good also. Over all 10/10 check this place out if you are the Duluth area. You will not be disappointed they also have happy hour until 5:30pm unfortunately we missed it.

I truly enjoyed my meal and the ambiance of Local North. The only negative for me was that they there was food debris on the floor around some of the tables, but other than that it was a good experience.
