1. The entree’ and appetizer came at the same time. The appetizer was cold.
2. I ordered half-chicken. It was cold in the inside and warm(not hot) at the outside. It was understandable that it was warmed up in the microwave. Also, we couldn’t taste the flavor of the chicken.

Mazaj has decent food, I’m not going to lie at all in my review and I’ll give them props where they are due. But I’ll be brutally honest about how my friends and I were treated here. We ordered hookah and some dessert, the hookah was okay, the desserts were really good. The problem is when my friends and I were quietly playing a card game. The manager came up to us and told we are not allowed to play games here. When asking why this is the case out of curiosity they told us they have a policy where they do not allow games to be played unless there is a female present at the table. This is absolutely insane to me. It is a very sexist rule where they say groups of men are not allowed to play games unless there is a girl present. I’d like to state again my friends and I were very quiet and the manager only noticed us playing games because he was walking to the restroom. I cannot believe in the year 2025 we have discrimination like this. We had just come from a wedding, were nicely dressed, and caused no problem at all. At the end of the day the manager let us play but I still cannot believe that this is a rule in place. Either you don’t let anyone play games or you let everyone play games.

Came here on a random night out as visitors from Toronto. Amazing experience, great shisha & drinks. extremely friendly & hospitable staff. Memorable night

It was our first time checking this place.
Food was great but the only problem is “The hookah “ thing should have separate rooms or section. We went on busy day , couldn’t get any couch and had to sit on the table instead (which are very close to each others) and everywhere there was hookah …unknowingly I took my 1.5 year old kid and 7yrs daughter …as the tables were very close my kids had to breathe all those smokes…
It’s just it would be nice if they have hookah section separate.
