Food was average took 30+ minutes for empanadas even tho it wasn’t that busy and my waitress didn’t check in my table once but checked on the ones around and the hostesses were rude I was only in town for the night and upset I wasted my dinner at this location

Went for Sunday brunch on 2/22 especially for the live music. Atmosphere was very good and service was good. Took quite long to receive our drinks even though the bar was not full at all. Food was OK, but definitely would not inspire us to return. For example the steak was tough and the biscuits were quite hard. Only reason we'd return would be for the live music.

I went to this place for brunch today and could not believe how disrespectful the staff was. This place should literally be closed down. Specifically, the Blonde gentleman bartender, was extremely aggressive and agitated. Not only did he slam my drink down spilling it, when I told him that he spilled it and asked if he was okay, he snapped at me saying that he wasn't OK. This man proceeded to take our napkins attempted to blot the spill and just left the wet napkins in a pile on the table in front of me! YOUNG BLACK PROFESSIONALS, THE MICROAFGRESSIONS ARE LOUD.

This was by far the worst service, I feel like you all owe me. We finally got our food at 3:30 mind you I arrived at 11:45... we got our drinks after asking 3 times about them. and we took our food to go since it came at 3:30p. The worse $600 I ever spent on mediocre food and poor service.

Ambience of the actual restaurant and the outside portion are great. Although the food is very subpar and really holds back the place. Very limited selection with the food probably wouldn't go back

Everything negative I read about this experience turned out to be the opposite. Looking forward to a return for jazz Sunday brunch!

Had reservations & was able to be seated promptly upon arrival, however, we sat at the table for over 10 minutes until we told a staff member that was walking by that we had not been greeted. Drinks were amazing, but the food was mediocre. I did feel rushed through the meal. It was a fairly busy night for them as we witnessed a couple of wedding parties.

I visited during the winter so I didn't get to enjoy the outside area, but it looked pretty. The inside was very nice as well. The food was delicious! I ordered the roast hash and an espresso martini. We celebrated a birthday during brunch. Our server, Axel, was amazing!

They also had a live entertainment, singer and saxophonist. I enjoyed them as well.

Fyi: if you bring a cake, they will charge you $35 to cut it. We declined.

Terrible customer service. We went for brunch; our server failed to tell us the kitchen was closing soon. When we tried to place our food order she said the kitchen was closed and kept telling us the website says when the kitchen closes, as if it wasn't her job to communicate this. Manager was no help. They all need (re)training on customer service 101.

I had an amazing time at the overstory rooftop,
My waitress Sonica was amazing she is very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks and advised me on what I should try, with it being my first time. Her customer service was top notch. I will definitely be back soon.

The place is beautiful. However the service is horrible. The bartender (looks white with glasses) is very rude. She made us extremely uncomfortable. We ended up leaving less than 5 minutes after we walked in. They need to work on their customer service for sure.

Terrible and disappointing!! I had high hopes for this place but NO! Management is terrible, the staff has a terrible attitude (I wasn’t the only who felt this way, please read the comments), and it took a while to get our food! I HATE writing bad reviews and it take a lot for me to leave one bit please save your money and go else where. You will have a bad night here. Pretty restaurant but the staff here has an ugly attitude.

Teriah was the best server at the Rooftop Bar Overstory. She was kind, welcoming, and made every effort to take care of all our needs. Thanks to her, our rooftop visit was a truly wonderful experience.
