The food is ok. I feel it’s less meat day by day. The service is bad. The waiter was good at first until his friends or girlfriend came. He totally forgot us. No water. No straw after many times I asked for water. Then he sat and chatted with his friends. No offer us more soup or turn off the heat. He literally doesn’t care us.

I love hot pots, so needless to say that I like it even more when it is individualized servings! Everyone gets their own pot with option of spiciness, and you can really request HOT if you can handle it! Lots and lots of options, so you will surely find one that you will enjoy!

Will be disappointed if you compare this place to like Boiling Point. Bit pricy compares with smaller portions, but it does offer pretty decent Taiwanese hotpot.

I ordered two hotpots, and I specifically asked for no egg due to a deathly allergic reaction, and for the other hotpot I specifically ordered it because the menu said it has no eggs in it. The server brought out the food and I found some egg whites on the cabbage and told the server. He went to the back to ask the chef and said there wasn’t any eggs what so ever. The other hotpot came out with quail eggs in it. Almost died… the menu wasn’t true to its ingredients and the staff clearly doesn’t care for their customers. They also failed to give us the basic utensils and even water.

It was ok. I wish there was a better way to describe it but that’s about it. The food was bland despite having spice in it. I have severe food allergies and when trying to explain to staff I didn’t feel taken too seriously about it which lead me to being nervous to try it and more or less just picked at it. Wasn’t checked on too often by waiter despite being one of three tables there. Was super excited due to the good reviews to try it we there are so many restaurants in the area. Wish I could blame a rush for it but as stated previously there was only three tables including ours

Food and services was great, I recommend getting the popcorn Chicken. We went for a birthday lunch and the vibe was nice.

I had the pleasure of dining at Pop Pot recently and it was a delightful experience! I ordered the sukiyaki pot and the Taiwanese spicy pot. The flavors were absolutely delicious, and the soup was amazing. The level of spiciness was just right, making it enjoyable for everyone. I can’t wait to go back and explore more dishes on their menu. What’s even better is that the price was very reasonable at $19 for both dishes, considering the generous portion sizes. Pop Pot is definitely a place I’d recommend for a tasty and affordable hot pot experience!

Not a bad spot if you want to pay a little less than a ayce hot pot restaurant. Portion size is decent and food is good.

Yummy! I prefer this style over the communal hot pot/AYCE restaurants because the soups have more flavor and options and you don't have to keep reaching and fishing for specific items. Also, decent price ($15-19) that is really filling. I got the sour napa pot medium spicy, and got to also try the satay beef. They all come with a choice of rice or glass noodles, and a savory/sweet/spicy sauce. My sour napa comes with pork and was soo delicious - the sour soup flavor is quite strong and I couldn't stop drinking the soup. Also I think the amount of cabbage really filled me up. The satay beef was also good and had a lot of beef, but I think the soup could have used more satay flavor. Each pot has a slightly different set of additional ingredients (meat balls, pig blood cake, intestines, etc) but they are all pretty generous and complete the hotpot experience.

Enjoyed eating here. Personal hot pot was a decently sized option. I had the Szechuan spicy hot pot which came with a variety of meat and veggies.

tried this spot for the first time last weekend. it's a bit different from your typical hot pot where you order your own meats and sides to cook in broth, instead you choose a premade individual pot with different broths, meats, veggies or you can even build your own. they bring out your pot with its own burner and it cooks for you. server was fine, the food was really great, good spice level, portions etc. it looks super cute, great for the IG girls to take some aesthetic pics haha. however our issue came when it was time to pay our bills. we had a total of 4 checks for the table. 2 checks went ahead and paid with card leaving the other 2 for cash. my boyfriend and i gave the guy $100 bill for our check which with our 2 pots, 1 quail egg order, and 1 soda should have been $65 or less including gratuity for larger party considering the pots were about $22 each. we only got $6 in change meaning our bill was $94 which didn't make sense because the other couple with us who paid with card bill came out to be $65 and they ordered more extras than we did. we asked for an itemized receipt which he explained he could not separate the other cash items on the bill but assured us he only charged each of our bills the items we ordered. our other friend who paid in cash also gave $100 bill and received ~$55 back meaning hers alone was like $45 without any extras and our other friend who paid card ordering the exact same thing as her was $25 with tip. we received the entire itemized bill including all of the cash items of ours and our friend and total was $93 with cash for both bills combined. so how would it make sense that we paid $94 and our friend $45 on a combined bill of $93 with tip. after adding up our subtotal based on the receipt of what we ordered it should have been $50 before gratuity. not to be mean to the guy we get it that the system is confusing and he was the only one working but it was waaaay too much of a discrepancy to just let it go. we didn't even mention that we got charged 2 extra sodas when we only ordered one.we told the guy and he manually went back to add it up which we appreciated and gave our friend back the correct change first since hers was for one person and easier. he then came back with one of the grandmas to apologize and tell us what our should have been to make sure we were in agreement with the corrected total receipt and we thought he was gonna come back after to give us back the extra money. he never came back and at this point this bill issue had been ongoing 30 minutes we were ready to go so my boyfriend decided to go up to them and ask in case they forgot. they claimed they already gave us the extra money back which i get it, it's busy and stressful you probably forgot but we definitely didn't get our change back. they only gave us the corrected receipt no money. at this point both he and us were irritated and he eventually gave us our change reluctantly still insisting we already got it. kind of insinuating we took the money already and were asking for more.....like why would we want to sit there for 30 minutes after paying if we already got our change just to get another $35 or so. i really loved the food there flavor was on point, decent pricing, it was really cute and convenient. i would go back for the food but unfortunately the experience with the bill ruined it for me. i would suggest if you come here to pay with card so you can make sure your bill is separated correctly!

Pop Pot is one of the staple hotpot places in the metro-Atlanta area, and for good reason. I used to come here before Covid, but this is my first time coming since 2020 and the quality does not disappoint. The interior was empty except for 1 other party despite it being 7 PM on a Saturday night. We got seated and served extremely quick and service throughout was exceptional. My girlfriend and I got the Taiwanese spicy and sukiyaki hotpot per the recommendation of the waitress. The sukiyaki has a sweeter brother while the Taiwanese has more of a tang with some sweetness. Each of the hotpot meals come with the option of white rice or glass noodle on top of what is already included in the hotpot. Overall, pop pot is still one of the staple hotpot places in Atlanta and barely scrapes a 5* review. The only deterrent is that the prices keep increasing, and the amount of ingredients in each dish not named "Cabbage" is decreasing.
