I have been a fan of Pure for many years! The downtown Duluth location is in a very quaint part of town and is walkable from where I live. The food is consistent and delicious. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad meal at any location ever !!! Our server, Tai made us feel like special guests. She was highly knowledgeable of the menu and as sweet as can be. An asset to this particular location. The manager, Tahira Is lucky to have her! What a lovely manager indeed . Do not hesitate to visit this location!!

PURE Taqueria wasn’t anything special. Nothing bad happened per se… i’m just not super impressed with the food. They also don’t have free refills on soft drinks which is a big deal for me but, if you don’t mind it’s a decent place. Food was alright, service was sub par, atmosphere was okay!

This place is always great and fantastic drinks :) I would love to give a 5 star unfortunately this location does not have a changing table to accommodate families with children. Especially with a restaurant that is supposedly family friendly. Overall a great experience though. Hopefully they can make changes in the future for those with kids.

I've been to PURE Taqueria several times-once with a group from The District (including my best friend) and a couple other times on dates. The tacos have been a bit inconsistent for me: the first visit they were fairly good but somewhat bland, while the next couple visits tasted better. Big positives are the atmosphere and social vibe. It's lively and fun, though it can get noisy inside-if you're on a date and sitting across the table, it can be hard to hear each other. The convenience factor is huge for me since it's downtown and right across the street, so 1 can walk over anytime. When I'm craving tacos, this is an easy go-to.

LOVED the empanadas! Great flavor and consistency. The rest of the food was very good. We ate inside and it was so loud- between the music, patrons and constant dings from the kitchen area. It was hard to have a conversation without yelling. Please adjust- and then it would be 5 stars.

This was our first visit and we are already planning to go back! Loved the Quesadillas con Pollo y Queso. The corn masa really set them apart from any quesadillas I've ever had before! My husband had the Tostada de Tinga & thought the chicken was some of the best he's ever tasted. Cocktails were also delicious. Best of all were the friendly & welcoming staff. Our server Dallas was awesome! She had lots of really great suggestions. And the manager Nick also made us feel welcome & made sure we return. This place is a gem!

We visited Puré Taquería and had a great experience. The al pastor and asada tacos were good, but the Sonora tacos were our favorite. The guacamole and salmon were also delicious. Even though the place was packed, the service was fast and attentive — Mayela attention was 10/10. We’d definitely come back! Only suggestion: add pork belly and esquites to the appetizer menu.
