5 stars for Atlanta, but maybe 4 stars if compared to other cities or countries.

We only ordered 3 dishes since we weren’t that hungry, but the portions were generous.

The boiled beef wasn’t as soupy as usual and the starch was a bit thick, but the flavor was excellent—well balanced with spice, numbing, and depth.
The bamboo, tofu, and pork dish is a very classic Chinese homestyle plate, and they did a great job on it.
The Hong Kong crispy shrimp was okay but relatively pricey. I was expecting more garlic and bean crisps, but it came mainly with dry onions.

Maybe I sound a bit harsh, but this is still one of the OG authentic Chinese spots in Atlanta. If you’re craving real Chinese food, this is the place to go!

Tao was just a phenomenal man as we were walking into the restaurant, this friend and I wanted to eat dumplings and this was the closet place and he was such a welcoming man and recommended us the best dumplings they sell and they were phenomenal a large prefer had ten dumplings and it was the perfect amount of spicy with sweetness and had steamed rice. Beautiful restaurant and amazing staff, we also got jasmine tea and paid no more than $20 without tip.

The attendant pushed me to select one of the automatic tip percentages on the payment machine, which felt uncomfortable. The decoration could be improved, but the food is fresh and the prices are good.

Genuinely very authentic sichuan food with good prices and friendly service. I’m seeing reviews where people order very “american chinese” food, no sichuan dishes, and complain about the authenticity and prices not being in line with “chinese takeout food”. Sorry, but this is truly authentic food and the prices not only reflect that but are actually quite competitive. This restaurant is older than me and my family and I have been going for two decades. The food has never disappointed! We know we can always count on Sichuan House for real chinese food.

Great food, good value. Can get authentic Sichuan food. They also have an American menu if you are unable to take the heat.

5 Stars!

I had such a wonderful experience at Sichuan House with my mom and my child. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted, seated, and served right away. The restaurant is spotless, well-lit, and beautifully decorated — creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere.

The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and accommodating, especially with my little one in tow. The chef/owner personally took our order and offered fantastic recommendations. We started with the large master pork dumplings and wow — the sauce they came with was absolutely divine! I found myself wanting to put it on everything.

The menu has great price points, and the portions are generous — each dish is perfect for sharing or enjoying as leftovers. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care.

If you’re looking for authentic, gourmet Chinese cuisine in a warm, family-friendly setting, Sichuan House is a must-visit. We felt right at home and will absolutely be back. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for an authentic gourmet Chinese food you have to go here. The chef himself greeted us and explained each dish clearly. They have American style Chinese food on the menu also. The wait staff was very attentive. The food was like no other. We started off with the in house made pork dumplings. I could have eating it all by myself. The sauce was savory. The spice level was a perfect balance where you got the kick but the taste was not lost in the heat. I highly recommend this place hands down. Pass it along because This is a gem we must support.
