Yummy! This little spot inside of Hmart really delivers! Their little stand is vibrant and really makes you crave some enticing Korean snacks. I absolutely love their rice cake and sausage skewers (소떡소떡), which are crispy and savory. The main attraction, their Korean style hot dogs, are also amazing. The batter is fried perfectly, and my favorite type, the half and half mozzarella cheese and sausage, always delivers with its hot, gooey cheese. Make sure to spot by to get a quick Korean snack the next time you shop at Hmart!
Ssong's Hot Dog is located inside H-Mart. When you walk in, it's in the left side of the store. It's not on the right side with the rest of the food stalls. It's on the left side where all the pre-made foods are sold. They have a small stand there. Ssong's Hot Dogs sells Korean corn dogs and drinks. You order 1 dog at a time. They have Ssong's Premium, Mozzarella Cheese Stick, Mozz Sausage Stick, Spicy versions of those, and other sticks that are not sausage based like Fish Cake Sticks. The corn dogs are made to order. They fry it fresh right when you order. It takes about 10-15 minutes for the food to get ready. After they fry them up, you have an option to roll them in powdered sugar. I didn't mind the sugar. It gave the savory dogs another depth of flavor with the sweetness. These corn dogs are pretty good. They're probably the best I've tasted. The outer layer with the batter come out super crispy and flavorful. They nailed the batter with the texture and flavor. I don't know how they do it. The dogs are big. A hungry guy can eat 2 comfortably. For light eaters, 1 is probably enough. I would get a variety so you can try everything. I'm usually not a fan of cheese, but the cheese version is surprisingly good.

Found this little gem inside the H-Mart!Love me a good corn dog so I had to try one.I ordered the standard hot dog, there are different filler options. The breading has a great crunch! The hotdog meat is really meat! Loves the flavors and the breading crunch.Loved the packaging. Holds the corn dog perfectly with the stick out the side keeping the dog warm, only Asians come up with cool stuff like this, love it!The only downer is no yellow mustard, they’ve got 5 other flavors but not the one I love with corn dogs. I know that’s an Amercian flavor but it’s good together.The service is great. Tip - orders are made fresh so they take 5 min. So order and go shop and come back to a fresh hot corn dog.

I got #4. That is a monster. I was stuffed. I enjoyed it with sugar, honey mustard and chili.

Alright, I was extremely disappointed today. The way they use the box and the holder is a great idea which holds the hot dogs (corn dogs) in place. The taste was exceptional, the crispiness was exceptional, the cheese pull was exceptionally good; however, I couldn't give it a better rating than a 2. Why? As soon as I went to take the dogs out of the box from its holder the stick came straight off the hot dogs. Now here I am which I have never done in my life holding a corn dog with my hands. My hands were greasy messy, and I have sugar plastered all on my fingers. Don't get me wrong it was finger licking good but that's the point of eating a corn dog not to have anything stuck on our hands and fingers. Perhaps next time 2 could be 5 because if he stick didn't had came off that would had been my rating!

I stopped by SSONG'S HOTDOG inside H Mart and I was really impressed! The Korean corn dog was delicious and you can also sauce it up with some spicy mayo and ketchup. It's a great spot for a quick bite and the prices are very reasonable. I'll definitely be back!
My go to place for korean corndogs!! I love getting the classic one with sugar coating and drizzling spicy mayo on it ?? Very affordable too ?

Their hotdog batter is the best and the new cheetos menu is absolutely my favorite!
It was so nice that the kids told me to leave a 5 star reveiw it tasted so good and I went a couple of more time's.
