Recently moved to the area late last year. I've always been a fan of Steak & Shake ever since I first found out about it and with it's location, it's a no brainer fastfood joint for me. The first few times I went back in December 2022 and January of 2023, the service was bad and the food quality was mediocre at best.I don't know if there has been a change in management or something, but it's a complete 180 now. Tje food was good but the service was not. They were out of napkins, I brought it to the attention of an employee. He gave me some but did not fill the dispenser. We left 30 min later and still hadn't filled them. Tables were not wiped down. The old style Steak and Shake with real plates and great service has died. Sad.
