I ordered a BLT for lunch. This is what I got for $9. I won't order this again. Very disappointing.m although it was easy to order online and my order was ready quickly.

This is the first time after many years we have visited this diner. It has improved so much. We came for breakfast and the food was delicious. Service was exceptional and very attentive. This place makes a good pancake. I am very particular with pancakes and theirs are fluffy and light. The corned beef hash to my surprised appears to be home made and not canned. You could see the corned beef in it. They also added some herbs to enhance the flavor. Overall I would highly recommend this place.

Almost 12 years ago, when my husband was trying to convince me to move to GA for his job, he took me here to the Georgia Diner. I had the most delicious, huge piece of cake ive ever had! Yep, we moved here and have been to the Georgia Diner countless times including today!. Was a bit worried when covid hit but was just so glad they managed to pull thru and really enjoy the uber eats and other app based delivery systems that came out of that. We have never had a bad meal here. The burger meat and sausage links especially are so flavorful. We have always been treated so well here. It is a true americana diner. You can sit and visit and enjoy good food, smiling faces and be sure and have a piece of cake!

Do Not waste your money- you can get the same if not better out of a can. Service was good but literally felt robbed after the quality of the food.

Popped in for a quick bite with the family. Ambiance was family friendly and there was ample parking. The menu offered a vast variety of choices... from breakfast favorites to specialty pastas. We settled on the Salisbury steak, cheese burger, catfish and shrimp. The Salisbury steak and cheese burger were fair. The catfish and shrimp were saturated with cooking oil. The side of broccoli was yellowed on the ends and not great. The service was also subpar. I would not return and unfortunately don't recommend.

The food is always good - we have visited here many, many times over the 20 years we've lived in Gainesville. This is a traditional American diner with a comfortable ambiance. However, last night , my husband and I stopped by for some Matzo ball soup and a side salad. We got the bill, and our 2 bowls of soup and one side salad totaled $29.00! There was a $4.95 charge added to the bill for EACH Matzo ball! So, the $6.95 bowl of chicken noodle soup ended up costing $12.00. Outrageous - we love the food at the Georgia Diner but will have to find other alternate restaurants - or stay home and cook! Connie Murphy

I order via Doordash on a weekly basis from this restaurant on behalf of my mom and the most tackiest thing happened. She asked for one side of blue cheese dressing and somone from the restaurant had the audacity to put a note in the bag refusing to give her the dressing and that if she wanted it, she would have to pay for it. Ok..so I checked the app and finally found an option for extra dressing. You can't select which dressing you want, but you can pay .90 cents for unspecified dressing. Anyway, my issue is that times are really that hard and you couldn't spare a spoonful or so of salad dressing? Could you have given her a courtesy dressing for customer service sake, but then stated that there is an option to order dressing and charges apply for future orders? Absolutely tacky!!

I've been coming here for almost 30 years. Today we just got up and left. It appears to have new owners who apparently have no clue how to successfully run a restaurant. We came in and were seated then waited 25 minutes while every member of staff walked by our table at some point without ONE person acknowledging us. No, It wasn't busy at all. Finally we gave up and walked out Congratulations on turning a repeat customer into a former customer.
I stopped by there yesterday afternoon because I wanted some home style cooking. I was not disappointed. The dinners come with choice of soup or salad and two sides. I had Salsbury steaks and mushroom gravy with chicken noodle soup, mashed potatoes, green beans and sweet tea. The staff was polite and friendly. The food was simple and good, fresh and hot without a long wait, and much more than I could eat even though I came in quite hungry. I recommend them.

I want to love this place since I order there so many times via Uber eats but they always miss up my order. I get the seafood Alfredo pasta and on the app it says that it comes with garlic bread. I've ordered their spaghetti and other pasta dishes in the past too. I have never received this garlic bread that they speak of. If this is wrong, I would hope they would take it off the app. Or is the garlic bread for dine in only??

I ordered on DoorDash and the home fries were really good. They are like soft home style potatoes w onion and I got the corned beef hash which was pretty good as well

Service was good felt like waiter was attentive but wanted us to leave at the same time for a place that wasn't too crowded. Dad ordered t-bone medium was given a bit overcooked. I ordered a prime rib and it was juicy and was done to medium but areas felt boiled?? Expensive for some boiled meat. The menu gave options on the sides but waiter didn't ask and we were both given mash potatoes. We were given a choice of soup which I did enjoy as an appetizer. The portion size was well in terms of meat and sides but we didn't like them enough to finish. The entree also came with a random head of boiled broccoli which I found odd. Tldr- food was mid. Was a good amount tho. Service is good I guess? Price - bit pricey on the pricey end for the quality tbh
