Sweetsong is everything! The vibe, the aesthetic, the service : 10/10. Maria was amazing, super sweet and attentive, and the staff genuinely seems to love being there. Cocktails? Chef’s kiss. I had a lemon drop and the drinks are 🔥.
I went with the Fried Korean Bowl with salmon and took the waiter’s tip: less carrots, more cucumbers…. flavor explosion! Salmon cooked perfectly. Had the best girls’ night here and will definitely be back.

I waited a week before writing this review as I wanted to remove my immediate feelings from the equation. I was with a group of 10 dining for lunch during a work function. Restaurant had a total of 12 guests including my group. The entire available staff found it very difficult to get drink orders delivered correctly and exceptionally difficult to deliver food, forgetting 2 members of our party completely. Food was good but not noteworthy. Note: nobody in our group ordered anything special or with special instructions.

I don't know if everyone working that day was new or what. My parents and I were the only people in the restaurant for lunch and had a disappointing experience. They have been there several times and my mother ordered the same thing she always orders. She said her bowl was not seasoned as well and it was a significantly smaller portion than the previous times. They brought me the completely wrong order and tried to pass it off as the right one. I'm not sure who could mix up a plate of crudites and a grain bowl. When I did finally get what I ordered it was so bland. The pickled radish was barely pickled and I could tell they did not know how to prepare barley berries properly. Fair enough because it's pretty rare but why offer it if you can't cook it right. The tofu was just boiled with not even a hint of seasoning. Paying $22 for something I could barely eat was so unfortunate. At least it's beautifully decorated.

Sweetsong is a great vibe. Chill with a great ambiance. The service is exceptional. Ask for Belene. She's an amazing server and bartender. She gives excellent recommendations and has the best personality. I will be back. The service is much better at Sweetsong than Overstory Rooftop. Try the Korean rice bowl. Delicious 😋
