For those who want an amazing environment, deep south perfect food, personal first class service, in a movie style facility, this is the place to go for brunch.

Had a lovely time for tea here. Excellent customer service - Michael and the chef were so accommodating in providing plenty of vegan dishes. Would highly recommend coming!

Welcome home! You are greeted and seated at a beautifully set table. The peach tea is excellent. Sweet potato soup is creamy. Grilled chicken pasta and the trio salad are delicious. The frozen cranberry salad can be a dessert by itself. Tea service is also available, but you must reserve ahead.

Came here before new management, loved it! Then it closed down and reopened. I was so happy it reopened but it changed. It’s only brunch/lunch but sadly the menu changed - missing key brunch items! No Benedict’s, no pancakes, it’s bizarre- I wish they expanded their menu into real brunch items-

Went here for lunch and the place looks like a retirement home dining room. It was very empty and that’s a red flag already. Very gloomy and outdated. Service was lousy. I had a server that looked like she didn’t want to be there. Never smiled once and wasn’t attentive. The food was outdated too. It seemed like I was on a cruise from the 80s. The only good thing about this meal were the scones. It was the only thing that was good and that’s only because they were free before you order. Not a lot to choose from. All salads and sandwiches that I can get better at Panera. That’s how bad it was. The crab salad was fishy and didn’t seem fresh. The chicken sandwich was overcooked. I could get better at kfc and that’s not saying much. Will not return

First time here. Sunday at 12:30 thought it was closed but met an employee in the parking lot who told us to go right in. Pleasantly greeted by the host, the atmosphere felt like we stepped back in time but felt like a great place to go after church with family. We tried the quiche and the chicken salad croissant which were both perfect portion size and tasted good.

Absolutely incredible. Came here alone for Sunday brunch today and was floored at the quality of the food. Fresh hand squeezed orange juice for the mimosas, hot buttery and crisp scones, creamy fresh baked potato soup. Nothing is synthetic or comes in a bag. You can tell everything is fresh and the ingredients are respected. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had, and I get around!! Came here on a whim and was not disappointed.

I had planned a special 90th birthday luncheon for a friend. I verified the reservation with Magnolia Cottage in July for September 7th. I sent out invitations and was looking forward to honoring this sweet lady. I had email confirmation of everything, then received an email two weeks before the gathering that they would no longer be able to honor my reservation as they had a private event. Please be careful making a reservation here as it may not always be honored and you may not get much advance notice. I would NOT recommend Magnolia Cottage.

I've been here recently and I really love the atmosphere! The owner was really nice to us too; she went out of her way to treat us very kindly even though it was really busy!

The food was delicious and the service from the server was excellent. The problem is the new owner of the restaurant. I hear her yelling at the staff and saying awful things. The past owner NEVER disrespected the staff and now it’s not the same. It feels like they don’t actually have it together as well cause of the way the managers ran after staff and didn’t even know their own menu to where there was constant miscommunication between me and my server. All food was great but honestly disappointed in the overall experience

Sophisticated yet cozy atmosphere, great food and service, reasonable price is an extra.
Great affordable place to eat brunch. I loved that they gave us free scones with orange zest butter as a starter. The plum tea was also exceptional. Hopefully, they will get more attention ahead of the sea of mediocrity, which makes up the Atlanta brunch scene.

We had a luncheon after my Mom’s funeral on Saturday, July 27, 2024. It was absolutely perfect. Jane was so gracious and helpful from the initial meeting until we we were leaving the venue. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and took care of everything. I highly recommend Magnolia Cottage!
