i always liked going to the cream because the food options are pretty nice and i love their strawberry matcha, however i had a pretty bad experience today (12/25, ~8:30pm). although i understand working on christmas is not ideal, i'm sure he either decided to pick up the shift or was okay with it. either way, he had been rude in many ways, most notably, when serving us our food. he tossed a spoon onto the counter, which felt unkind and surprising to us. furthermore when taking our order he didn't pay much attention and was more focused on messing around with his female coworker. last but not least, when we were sitting down and looking over the menu, the two workers were staring at us for a good bit, which felt uncomfortable. this encounter made the whole experience today sour and not enjoyable, and i really hope moving forward the workers are taught to not be so unfriendly towards customers, especially to those who haven't done anything in particular.

Both the meals and desserts are consistently well-prepared, flavorful, and satisfying. The menu works equally well for a quick bite or a more deliberate stop, which adds to its day-to-day utility as a resident.
The staff is a clear differentiator—professional, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. Combined with the proximity, strong food quality, and reliable service, The Cream punches above its weight for an on-property restaurant and is an asset to the complex rather than just an amenity.

I stopped on 11/25 morning to grab a bite to eat and was greeted with dissatisfaction. Having went to the front to place my order, the worker at the front seems annoyed having to take my order as she was looking down at her phone and AirPods in. After saying my order, I made a quick change from one food item to another. After she had changed it on the screen, she said is that it and are u sure you don’t want to make another change with a bit of an attitude. What happened to basic human decency?Although the food was good, the service made me lose some of my appetite.

It was my first time ordering from them on DoorDash, and I tried their signature omurice with Korean-style fried chicken skewers — I was pleasantly surprised! When I opened the omurice, the rich egg and cheese aroma covered the entire dish, and every spoonful of rice was full of flavor. The sweet and tangy fried chicken skewers were also delicious.
I also tried their mandu (beef dumplings) — juicy and full of savory flavor. The second time, I ordered the Alfredo pasta, which had a strong creamy aroma and an addictive white sauce flavor. The only downside was the portion — it was a bit small and disappeared too quickly!

Excellent food. Excellent coffee. Excellent service. It doesn't get better than this. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, you can come any time of day and have the best food in downtown Duluth. With its own parking garage and shaded outdoor patio, you need to check this place out. Been coning every weekend since I heard about this place.
This place is amazing! I have never had a bad experience here. I’ve come here for dinner and for breakfast and everything is delicious. The environment is great and the staff are always friendly. Truly amazing place and we love coming here!

Beware of their false closing time! Arrived 25 minutes before closing and was told they are no longer serving food. I understand closing the kitchen 10 or 15 minutes before closing, but 30 minutes before is ridiculous. You should change your closing hours to 30 minutes beforehand if you are not going to serve customers.
