The food was okay, but the service was really disappointing. I told the lady I wanted a youtiao and a preserved egg and pork congee. She didn’t inform me that the congee actually comes with a free youtiao, so I ended up paying extra for something that should have been included. I chose to dine in and asked if they had any napkins, but she refused to give me any. Then, as I was leaving, she spoke to me very rudely and told me to scrape the bowl clean. I’ve never experienced such unwelcoming service before. Definitely not coming back.

They have a lot of frozen buns to buy for take home and a rotating list of chef’s specials. We ordered nasi lemak, pad see ew, and char kway teow to go. The lady at the counter was super nice and showed me all the orders before packing them up to make sure everything looked good. The food was authentic and delicious.

I am from Malaysia and for me, the food here has that authentic taste that I am craving for. The food is well made and tasty and the portions are good. Do not expect an extensive menu and they accept cash only. They also sell steamed buns which seems to be a big seller but I have not tried them. They offer authentic Malaysian dishes and a few Chinese dishes. The service was friendly, mind you the cashier person changes each day. Overall I highly recommend this place if you are looking for great Malaysian food.

This place is in the jusgo market food court between the Xian Gourmet place and the Ramen place. I tried the beef rendang and pork porridge with century egg. It came with 2 youtiao (fried dough sticks) but I don't know if that's typical or because we had a longer wait, didn't see it mentioned on the menu. I really liked the beef, it was so tender and flavorful. The congee had lots of ginger and scallion which I prefer. It was barely salted which was good cause then you can salt it to your taste.

This is definitely not your run-of-the-mill food court eatery. Food was exceptional and very reasonably priced for the portion size. Flavorful, fresh, and fast service. Pretty much everything is made from scratch every day and each dish is made to order. The service was also incredible. Mary, the owner and chef, is friendly, welcoming, and made sure our eating experience was memorable. I highly recommend Zhang's if you're in the neighborhood and want to patronize a local, small business. I will be back the next time I'm in Duluth

Mary was very friendly! Both times I have gone she has given me free bao buns, fried dough, and even a beef dish! The food is large portions and delicious! Home style cooking! I've had both the Nasi Lemak and the Beef rendang 10/10

I went there twice. None of them has happy experience. The first time I came in May and looked for some breakfast. The lady told me it was too early to sell, which is a weekend morning 9:30AM! The second time, I came again to buy some steam buns. The menu says it is $15 for 12 pork steam buns. I got my food and counted. It was only 11 inside the box. I ate them at home then found they are not as menu said. There are 3 different internal ingredients of 3 steam buns: 1 is chives and eggs; 1 is cabbage and meat; 1 is chives and meat….. TBH, I don’t know what one earth they put inside my box but it is definitely not the one on their menu…… I will keep the right to ask for the food permits to the county health department…..
