We've been neglecting Carbonara Trattoria because yelp had an Italian restaurant around the corner rated higher. For our first visit here, the plan was to walk in, sit at the bar, order a snack and something to go. First off, Trey, the bartender/server was great telling us what was on the menu. We ordered the fried oysters and they were very good. Trey also did a great job wine pairing and let us try a few other things. We decided to stay and order the carbonara salad and the cobia entree. At this point, for us to do an appetizer/salad/entree/desert, we have to split a few things and are quite comfortable sharing a plate, especially sitting next to each other in the bar. So, we said we wanted to split the salad. Much to our surprise, two little salads came out. Then we said we'd split the fish. Again, two small plates came out. This seemed above and beyond to me, but was very nice. We did order the "chocolate temptation" to go and ate it after we got home. The food was great, the ambience was nice, and we will definitely be going back!

We were here for my Dads birthday and the food was amazing. Fried green tomatoes with goat cheese. The bruschetta was delicious. Dinner was so good. Salmon, filet, and the sides, all good! Nice little place. Would return.

I have dined here a few times and the food is generally good. Today the service though was disappointing. My starter (fried green tomatoes) did not come until my two companions were onto their entrees and that too, only after reminding. The main thing noticeable about our server was how inattentive and absent he was. Because it was a busy Saturday night? Maybe, but disappointing experience nevertheless.

The place was amazing! The food was delicious and the service couldn't have been better. I had the lamb which was perfectly cooked. I also had the fried green tomatoes appetizer, best I've had! My gf had the pesto pasta crab cake and that was delicious as well. Definitely a great experience!

We had not been back since before the pandemic - three years ago ! We arrived at 7:30, and the scene just as expected: moderate to enthusiastic noise level ( which tapered very quickly), food was excellent, wine list was great, service ( in spite of the expected Friday night crush of people ) was way, way above average — in short it was a great experience and we shall definitely add it back to our “happy places” !!! Thanks to the whole staff !!!

Went here last night for a date night with a 7:30 pm reservation. After being told "5-10" minutes as a couple of tables "are finishing up". After 30+ minutes of being told "just a couple more minutes" and no end in sight My wife and I finally walked out.

What a pleasant surprise. Friends recently found this place and it immediately became a crowd favorite. From changing the reservation last minute with ease, to the perfect volume level ( you don't have to scream to hear your friends) to the amazing Alex the server, to the real star of the show- the food! The pasta, the steak, the desserts. All really fantastic. Can't say enough good things.

We had the mussels to start. Fat and juicy. I had the penne and shrimp. Very good. My wife had the veal picatta. Also, very good. We finished off with the chocolate souffle. Dynamite. The prices went up since we were last there but that's not unexpected. My only complaint was the bread was not as good in the past. Our server was very good.
