Ordered the brisket to go. Was prompted to select "lean, fatty or combo". Chose "lean". Got home with a plate of fat. Inedible. Won't be back.

I was very underwhelmed to say the least. I ordered ribs but they were extremely “blah”. They tasted like they had been refrigerated and took on that older taste. I ordered lean brisket and was pulling fat off constantly. Just not good at Alll.

This place is absolutely amazing. I'm not particularly a bbq guy, but we tried this spot for my mom's birthday. And let me tell you, this place is awesome. A little hard to find if you don't know that it's there, but this spot has amazing food and service. Everything on the menu is delicious. We had ribs and their corn pudding, which were delicious. Eric and the rest of the staff went above and beyond. I can't rave enough about this place. Apparently, this is also part of two other restaurants in Dunwoody village, so we're looking forward to trying them as well.

Absolutely yes! My husband and I are venturing out looking for new spots and why have we been sleeping on this spot? Morty's did not disappoint! We tried brisket, pulled pork and wings and everything was delicious! I can't wait to try the other menu items especially the Sunday specials fried chicken. When we told them it was our first time trying the restaurant they said here, taste our sides. Sold! Everything was good. Collard Greens, Brunswick stew and baked beans. Even the sauces were excellent. The space includes indoor and outdoor seating into a courtyard that includes a large projection screen for sports watching. Everyone was so friendly, stopped by to chat and check on us. Genuinely grateful for our business and humbly asked for our opinion. I also want to try the other two restaurants in the courtyard. This will be a regular spot for us. So glad we discovered it.

One of the better brisket ive had and probably the best on the east coast. Their mac n cheese is good also.
The food is so delicious here and very generous portions. Excellent brisket and the banana pudding is truly homemade with meringue. The daily specials look so good, I want to return on Friday and Sunday.

The food here is so delicious. Who would think to find this little BBQ gem hidden in Dunwoody. I’m a Carolina girl so I’m serious about my BBQ and this place exceeding my expectations. If you’re looking for good BBQ in the area this place is a must try.

Came here for dinner yesterday and loved it! They have two sections of the restaurant. One that was more typical restaurant service and part that was order at the counter type vibe. They have lots of delicious meats and sides to choose from. We got the half pound of pulled pork and then 3 sides to split between 2 people. It was more than enough food! For our sides, we got the mac and cheese, coleslaw and Brussels sprouts. They were all amazing. The Brussels are a must order! They have sauces that are self serve. They have 4 to choose from. Definitely would come back!

Stopped here on whim. Ordered the brisket, pulled pork, turkey, mac, corn pudding, and banana pudding The pork, mac, and banana pudding were standouts. The turkey was average. The brisket had a very good consistency and tatse to the fat and it was rendered well but the actual meat was dry. The staff was very friendly.
