Was recommended this place by friends. When we got there, we find out the menu has been cut in half. Not the biggest issue, but disappointing. It was also so dark in there that we had to use our phone flashlights to read the menu. Odd, but still not the worst thing that could happen.
Then, the shrimp cocktail arrives and it’s basically guac and onions with a hint of shrimp inside a cocktail glass. When the surprisingly oniony/guacy shrimp cocktail was mentioned to the waitress as not being what was expected, the waitress kindly offered to take it off the bill. All good.
After leaving, we look at the $250+ receipt to find that the waitress never actually took the cocktail off the bill. Basically got robbed of a $17 meal that wasn’t eaten. So while it wasn’t the worst experience, it was disappointing overall and realizing the waitress lied about taking the cocktail off the tab was the nail in the coffin.
Got robbed. Won’t be returning. Good news is that apparently other locations haven’t reduced their menu and aren’t completely dark inside, so maybe try a different location
We have been dining at the Dunwoody location since it opened and also frequented the Buckhead location for years before that. At some point last year they changed the menu and the only reason we can figure why was to save money. As if they had a consulting company come in and say ‘this is how to increase profits and hopefully the customer won’t realize’. For example, smaller plates and cups so you think you are getting a lot of food but in reality it’s less, lazy Susan to share sides ‘family style’ so now they bring out one small side of rice and beans to share when we all used to get our own, less food overall such as less pieces for quesadillas, and less meat in a dish. Oh and by the way, let’s raise prices! Yes I know that the average person that rarely eats here or a new customer will be none the wiser but the regulars have noticed. They had the same menu for YEARS at other locations and all highly successful so why mess with perfection? To make money! Just a sad play on an amazing Tex Mex chain in Atlanta. Do we love Superica? Yes, we have been eating at one location or another regularly since its inception. Is it worth $120 for a family of four with no alcohol? No, not by a long shot. Bring back the old menu, old portions and way of serving food and we will be rushing back!
I have to say they really turned it around with the new menu. Thank you for doing the fajitas the old way again which is much better. And the chicken nachos too are back to form. Service is great.
Only complaint is BRING BACK THE WEDGE FRIES!
This place was beautifulll! Loved the set up. Very big, private ADA bathrooms too. They have unlimited beans and rice which were so good and the salsa!! Definitely glad we made a last second decision to stop here, would recommend everyone too. The drinks are also good and the service was great! Server was always checking in on us, and making sure everything was good. Wish I took photos!
Great food @ Superica! Cade Ray was a wonderful server and made our night very special. Will be coming back.
JJ was amazing
First time dining here and it was AMAZING!! Really wanna tip my hat to our server Natalie! I wrote a review for the restaurant but I had to come here and add another one. Genuine customer service is hard to come by and we appreciate her. Outside of the great service , our food was SPECTACULAR and the drinks were amazing. Thank you Natalie and Superica for making our date night 10 times better !
Great Sunday brunch!
Service was beyond terrible. Food was ok but expensive.
The steak and chicken fajitas were 🔥🔥🔥. So flavorful, lots of food. We left definitely getting our moneys worth! Been coming for years but they are consistently amazing.

I feel like they go a little heavier on oil than some Mexican restaurants, but the food is delish so just be prepared if you’re sensitive. The service is great and you definitely want to start with the queso!
Great food, friendly staff, accommodating space!
I’m not happy they changed their menu. They took my favorite plate off of it.
Visited friends and we both brought our two kids. Fast service, good drinks, reasonably priced. Best steak fajitas I’ve ever had. The evening concerts played on the projector screen add a really unique and fantastic quality. Can’t wait to visit again
