I made this reservation very last minute, actually within hours of going. We were going somewhere else but one review caught my attention and so I cancelled that reservation and made the reservation with Capital Grille.I am beyond glad that I did so. My husband is vision impaired and I made that known when booking this reservation. I wanted him to be able to enjoy his food and not have people look at him in case he dropped food or whatever the case may be. That was first and foremost!They went above and beyond that reservation!We were actually there to celebrate his birthday today!Perry, our server, was beyond amazing!!!!!! He catered to us in ways unimaginable. He was extremely knowledgeable of the menu. His recommendations were amazing!I will go back just so I can sit in his section and get outstanding service!Thank you Capital Grille for employing Perry!Thank you Perry for being amazing!!!!

I was here over the weekend for my birthday(party of 2). About 5 to 10 minutes after leaving, I realized I had forgotten my birthday card with money on the table(we left at about 10pm which was closing). I called the restaurant and asked them to get if for me as I was on my way back there. The manager Danielle Crawley answered the phone and said she would go look. She came back a few minutes later and said nothing was there and that a message would be sent to the cleaning crew about it. I assured her it was left there and that I had just left the restaurant without it. I asked her for the name of my server to ensure she got the right table. Her tone became very aggressive and rude and she said she wouldn't know as I had not given her the name on my reservation. I then wondered where she looked the first time. After providing the name on the reservation, she said that was where she looked and it wasn't there. I told her that was impossible and asked her to pull the camera footage in the restaurant to which she said they didn't have any except at the exit. I said I would call the police and arrived at the restaurant at that time. She opened the door and we told her she was rude and either had a theft problem or it was unintentionally taken when the dishes were removed. She was at this time yelling loudly and one had to almost talk over her to get a word in. At which point she said my finger was in her face. I am soft spoken and calm and unless you were right there, you couldn't have heard me. I told her that was a lie as my finger was definitely not in her face and she was only looking to escalate the situation. She then said she would go get everyone to look for it. She came back in 5 minutes with my card and money. All she had to do was be nice and helpful. Without her trying to throw her weight around, this would have been resolved very easily and quickly. Danielle Crawley has a very bad attitude problem, is rude and should not be client/customer facing.

Capital Grille Dunwoody is simply the best overall. Have been going there for years and always consistently great steaks, sides and drinks. Suzanne is a terrific server....remembers every nuance of the order and makes it all look effortless!

This Capital Grille is not maintaining the Brand's high standards. We have enjoyed well over 50 meals at Capital Grille in Florida. Last night was our first visit to the Dunwoody location. We were so looking forward to this special night. While there were two bright spots that deserve recognition, the failures far overshadowed the entire evening. The bright spots were our bartender, Corinne, who was bubbly and energetic! The second was our server, Daisy, who was prompt, professional, kind and a lovely person. Where it went awry was first our steaks. They were so incredibly over seasoned, they were inedible. We have never sent anything back at a Capital Grille. The au gratin potatoes were also over seasoned. When Daisy asked how our meals were, we politely told her they were over seasoned. She apologized and took the plates back to be remade. We were seated near the kitchen, so I was privy to the exchange between Daisy and her Manager, Daniel Mendez. Mr. Mendez began arguing with Daisy about the meals coming back. She tried to politely explain the problem. He would not let her explain the problem and flat out berated her in a public space. It was completely uncalled for. Then, Mr. Mendez came to our table to "ask" about new plates. His demeanor was brash and overbearing. He spoke over me and my wife, telling us what he was going to do, instead of apologizing and asking what would make us happy. We were treated like 5 year olds who had done something horribly wrong, it was embarrassing and ruined what could have been a beautiful evening. We have made our last visit to this Capital Grille. I will drive the additional 20 minutes to give another location a chance to earn our support. I rarely feel so strongly about an imperfect night out, but take your patronage and hard earned money elsewhere.

I sat at the bar this evening and Allexis the bartender was AMAZING. Her energy is unmatched and her personality is outstanding. She's definitely an asset to the business. Normally the bar is great but it was amazing with Allexis she was very hospitable and made sure we were happy the entire time. She interacted with everyone at the bar.
