House Of Applejay Distillery

Absolutely amazing! Caroline did a tasting for us, explaining the alcohols and the history of it all and really created the best experience! The hot chocolate was awesome paired with the cranberry or the cherry likor 10/10 would recommend!

This distillery is not kid friendly what so ever! I wanted to go here and bring my family, but found out last minute that only 21+ is allowed here.They tell their customers it’s a law the must follow, but it is all a lie! Everyone of every age should at least be able to be on their property, or they could at least add some kid friendly stuff! We ended up going to White Path Creek Distillery instead, which allows people of ALL ages to be on their property and they even have a kid friendly environment. Me and my husband did end up going back here to Applejay for an about an hour and all I have to say is it’s terrible! House of Applejay please do better with your environment and also with your sweet grass vodka, it taste like dirt!

We had an absolutely wonderful time learning about how they make their products. Left with three bottles it was so delicious!

This place is absolutely fantastic! Caroline and her stunning Mama Sabine are so gracious. We had a wonderful time tasting, laughing, and swapping stories of Lady distillers/alcohol sales in the Deep South. Hat tip to the complexities and the smoothness of the alcoholic beverages! I tell y’all give them a try you WON’T regret it!

We visited for the first time today & have added this gem to our list of favorite local places. We were so impressed with the attention to detail, thoughtful touches, lovely & welcoming owners, fascinating facts & history of distilling they shared & the delicious product! It is obvious this women-owned business is run with love & passion for their craft. Can’t wait to return & share with our friends.

This place was one of our stops during our private wine tour and boy are we glad we did! Caroline and her mom are the sweetest and she even took us on a short tour of her distillery. It was so cool to see all the equipment she brought over from Germany and the barrels they shipped in, she even repurposed in to a seating area! Thanks again!

This place is wonderful! The ladies that own and operate this little bit of heaven are a blast to talk to and listen to. They know they’re stuff!! Beautiful equipment in immaculate condition lovingly taken care of and used to its potential. The vodkas and liquors they produce are incredible. I was taken there by a friend who lives in Ellijay and had been there before. I was Not disappointed! I will most definitely be back next Jeepfest!
