Went in today to check out the vineyard and was recommended the Chimney Red. It did not disappoint very happy with the recommendation! Beautiful vineyard and definitely suggest checking it out. There wasn’t much going on as it’s a Monday but still a beautiful place. Lots to offer! Would love to check it out on a weekend !!

So glad we stopped at this vineyard! It was so fun, local, cozy and the staff was so personable! There is a small barn to do the tasting with also an upstairs seating area. If you want to talk with the staff, you can do the tasting standing up at the bar area otherwise you can get tokens. You can drink a glass, wander around then turn in a token to get another.
We all did flights of wine tastings and stayed at the bar. Super fun time and the pours were generous. It wasn't busy at all and they had live music upstairs. My favorites were the whites, as those are the grapes they grow on the property. The Vidal Blanc was delicious, wasn't too sweet or dry.
I ended up buying a bottle and a Merlot off their library selection. Would definitely be back!

We have been to several vineyards in N.Ga, and this is one of our favorites. We had two flights of wines, and all 8 samples were good. We bought the peach muscadine white wine that is a sweet wine, but our other favorite was a dry red wine (Lawman I think it was called). The atmosphere is relaxing. There's a fireplace outside, a nice patio, and a stage with a backdrop of the vineyard. The band they had was "Big Dogs" - a blues-brothers type band that was excellent! Service was excellent, nice clean bathrooms, and some good chili fries as well. We live two hours away, but we will go back for another afternoon of music and wine.

Went to buy local wine. Wassolda wine from Ringold GA. Was good but disappointed that Cartecay Vineyards didn't offer their wine. Not sure why....sorely disappointed in this vineyard
