“Five stars! Our group of two couples (all over 75) had a wonderful visit to Cartecay Vineyards. We tried the wine sampler and thoroughly enjoyed the selection. Our absolute favorites were the Chimney white wine and the Law Man red wine. A special shout-out to our servers, Terra and Maria, who were both outstanding and made our visit memorable. Highly recommend!”

“CLEAN, and the food is GREAT! Best biscuits and gravy in town. Food is served fast and well prepared. I love their cilantro lime dressing that I get on my rice and bean bowl at lunch. My show loves their cilantro lime fish taco salad( also available as fish tacos). Chicken fried steak is excellent. Staff is also sweet and welcoming.”

“We recently took our friends to spend an afternoon at Engelheim Vineyards. Everything was wonderful - nice wines, yummy British pies, charcuterie, beautiful scenery, and relaxing live music. The place is family owned and the owners are attentive and engaging. We went to see the wedding venue there and it is lovely! We highly recommend this vineyard in Ellijay!”

“My wife and I came here for dinner twice while visiting Blue Ridge. The service was fast and the food was excellent. My wife loved the flautas with the white melted cheese on the side. I had a dish called El Cazuelon, which has steak, chicken, and Mexican chorizo (sausage). The dish also comes with plenty of corn tortillas plus rice and beans. I definitely recommend it!”

The food was incredible, and we can’t say enough about the service, Will & Lani gave us such a fun, informative tour, teaching us about how they grow their own grapes and make their own wine from start to finish. Loved learning the whole process! Add in the beautiful views and it was just a perfect day. We will absolutely be back”

“The Double L restaurant is home cooking at a restaurant. The Double L obviously aims to try to satisfy many different “cravings” and therefore have multiple food options. Many meat; vegetable and dessert options to choose from! My family and I don’t eat out a lot as I have a home business, but when we do, we like to eat here. Try it, you’ll like it!”

“We’re out of towners in Ellijay to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. We almost ate someplace else because of some negative reviews about having to wait so long to get their food. We were seated immediately and our orders taken within 5 minutes. We had our food in 15-20 minutes. We’re glad we ignored the bad reviews and took a chance. Good food and plenty of it.”

“The place feels disorderly. There are too many different things in the place. They need a unifying theme. There is a book store/fantasy gaming area in half the coffee shop. I guess they have to cater to who they think their customer is going to be. I don't know if a coffee shop alone will pay the bills. It is kinda of an unsettling place. The old couches and chairs are direct from a thrift store and I won't sit on them. The outside seating area has been neglected. Years ago different owners had created a different atmosphere. The current owners need someone to come in and make some improvements. I want them to be successful, right now I don't know how they will built a customer base.”

The only complaint I would have is that I overheard the person behind the counter scaring a customer about certain things. Like taking the covid shots and how you will die after 5 years. They truly should stick to selling health food items and try not to scare their customers away.”

“We came in for the first time tonight after searching for a restaurant serving wood fired pizza in Ellijay. We made the right choice! The pizza was great. Service was attentive and nice. My hubby loved the French Onion Soup. We will be back on our next visit.”

“We had an excellent experience here from start to finish. The margarita selection was impressive, with plenty of great options to choose from. Service was prompt and attentive without feeling rushed, which made the meal even more enjoyable. Our food arrived hot and fresh, and the flavors did not disappoint. The salsa was outstanding—fresh and flavorful. The steak in the street tacos was perfectly cooked, tender, and seasoned just right. This place clearly cares about quality and consistency. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it!”

“Just a classic. The food is comfort food to the core. I have had the Chuckwagon and Fried Bologna sandwiches, both were excellent and full of flavor. The okra, corn nuggets, tots and onion rings I tried as well, all were very delicious. On top of all that they have great prices and you walk away feeling satisfied and not feeling like you spent a bunch. A must stop!”

“I had the pleasure of stopping by White Columns Restaurant in Ellijay, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. It has that perfect small-town, hometown feel, and the entire staff was incredibly polite and professional.
What really stood out was their breakfast menu, which they serve all day even at dinner time. I ordered scrambled eggs, hash browns, and a biscuit with white gravy, and it was absolutely excellent. The gravy was nice and thick without any sausage, exactly how I like it. Everything was prepared perfectly, and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.”

“We were heading home from Blue Ridge, GA and wanted a local breakfast. Our daughter found you online and we are so glad she did. We had french toast, bacon, eggs, grits, egg bake with gravy and of course pancakes. Our granddaughter loves pancakes and you can tell she’s happy! ? It was all delicious! We also enjoyed the couple playing and singing. What a great way to end our vacation.”

“the last 2x i have been their food is not enoigh to make 1 8sandwhich. They have shorted me food and want my cc to charge it again for what i was shorted which was a tea. i also ordered extra piece of toast so that means they charged me $3 for 1 piece of toast. so now 2x in a row i was charged $14.96 for a chopped plate, 1 extra piece of toast, and a med tea.when i arrive to pick up my food they tell me they didn't charge me for a tea and want my cc to charge it for the tea. i told them to forget it. get home i don't even have enough meat to make a full sandwhich and that means they charged me $3.96 for 1 extra piece of toast cuz a chopped plate is 10.99. becareful they are ripping people off. i have called to speak to the manager and some little girl tells me she is the manager and that's her shift and that it is right and no one else for me to talk to so i will stop going if that is how they are going to do business. i ate my last plater from them this past Sunday. i Will not and do not recommend any one to eat from there”

“Great Dunkin’ with friendly service and consistently good coffee. I’ve been stopping by this location regularly, and it has been a very reliable experience. The coffee is always fresh and made just the way I like it, and the staff are generally friendly, welcoming, and efficient, even when they’re busy.

The drive-thru is especially convenient when I’m in a hurry, and my orders have been accurate and ready quickly. The food and donuts are also fresh and tasty.”

“Stopped to get a Blizzard. It was delicious. I had to wait about 10 minutes, but it was crowded and there seemed to be a shift change happening. The restaurant was basically clean, but tables obviously needed to be wiped down and flies were everywhere. Bathrooms were clean.”
