If you are looking for a great local place, Mike Ellijay's is the place to go. The young ladies waiting the tables are amazing and super friendly. It truly makes going to Mike's an easy choice every single time whether it is going for breakfast or lunch. The food is always good. Classic American diner fare, served with a side of small-town southern charm. The prices are crazy good, and the service equally so. We had bacon, French toast, a Western omelette, and hash browns. Food was good. Cash or check only.Kid-friendliness: They had wooden high chair seats available to use.

We were in town for a few days and noticed this little “hole in the wall” restaurant always had plenty of local cars in the parking lot, so we decided to give it a try. It was so good!!! Everything we tried tasted great, fresh, and homemade. The prices were great and our waitress was amazing, even though she was super busy. We would definitely go back if we’re in town again. It’s hard to find a good mom and pop restaurant these days!
