We have been to the Backporch Bistro several times, most recently 3/3/2024, when my parents came down for a visit. We were walking around Ellijay and wanted something small to hold us over till supper. I told them the rueben was fantastic, so that's what they ordered. They really enjoyed the food, the owners, and the laid-back atmosphere of the back porch.If you're in or around Ellijay and are hungry for a great sandwich, this is your place!!!
A wonderful quaint lunch spot! Delicious homemade everything! Love their soups and sandwiches! Sides and desserts are always homemade and fresh! Service is great as the folks there along with the owners are super friendly and engaging. This place is a real gem. My only real negative is how rarely they are open. We came here for spring break and had our Labrador. They have a porch where you can bring your dog. They welcomed us with menus and had a bowl of water with a treat. We felt very welcomed. The food was delicious ? Can't wait to come back!
