Our son was married on Oct 4th at Engelheim Vineyards, five hours from home. He chose The Butcher and Bottle to do the rehearsal supper ( up stairs room). I was a little worried at first because he made the decision on his own, and I like things just right. 😬I was so pleased with the choice. The employees were the absolute nicest people ever, the place was clean, and the food was wonderful! Parking was a little difficult at first, but if you’re new in town, just ask the employees...read full review
First time there today with a friend~Shrimp Diablo with fried jalapeños and meatloaf sandwich was delicious! And our server BRYANT was the best!
We enjoyed a delicious meal on Sunday night. Our waiter was friendly and attentive! Very pleasant experience!

The Butcher and Bottle is a local chain, described as one of the favorites for annual trips to the area. The food is always good, with five star quality food in the mountains. Specific meals mentioned include a mushroom burger (which could have used more mushrooms) with French fries, an egg and French toast cheeseburger dish with sauce (which had way too much sauce), an awesome ribeye, and trout with collard greens (so fresh and flavorful). The food is worth every penny and absolutely delicious. The service is superb and timely. Servers Cat, Don, and Mackensie are praised for being welcoming, accommodating, cheerful, and friendly. Bartender K. Leigh makes the best cocktails around. The GM, Rachel, was very pleasant and made food pairing recommendations. The restaurant is worth the long drive.
