“Quite possibly the best omelet I have ever eaten! I got the trash can omelet but I got the biscuit and gravy on the side. The biscuit was super soft and tasty. Also got an iced coffee that was very good as well.Everyone was super nice and polite. Overall is was a great experience.Definitely need to visit here if you're in the area!“

“Stopped by on our way home from a cabin trip and absolutely LOVED our experience! They offer flights and glasses of the wines produced at the vineyard. We stuck to the reds and loved everything we tried! Katie and Claire were amazing at making us feel so welcome and answered all our questions!! We stopped for wine but also ended up touring their venue as we in the works of planning our wedding. Our only wish is that they were closer to home in Atlanta!“

“We got into town and saw Cartecay and decided to give it a try! The pizza was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. It was thin, crunchy, and quite tasty. Our only complaint was the price, as we got two large pizzas for almost $50 and even picked it up! Other than that, we loved it and was actually worth the price!“

“Very nice place for a quick lunch before antique shopping. I ordered the reuben panini on sourdough bread with a side of slaw. Both were delicious. My husband ordered the chicken salad sandwich on sourdough bread with of slaw. It did not come toasted, but they will toast it for you if you request it. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Live music was played by a live band singing tunes.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available.“

“Tried this place for the first time today. It is an order at the counter and fix your own drink kind of place, with your food brought to the table via a number you get when you pay after ordering. Friendly (newer) owner, original owner sold it to her back in April 2023. I had a Cuban omelet sandwich and it was very good. I recommend this place for something unique and also because I love small locally owned type places if they are friendly and have good food, and they have both!“

“True home cooked diner food with a smile. Best place around for a quick and tasty breakfast or lunch. Nothing fancy at all, however, the place is clean and the biscuits are so good. We will definitely be back when traveling in the area. If you are staying at Amicolola Falls lodge like we were, this place is worth a short, beautiful scenic drive.“

“Cartecay vineyards is a great spot! Came here with my parents last weekend and we spent a few hours walking around, tasting wine, and adding firewood to the giant stone fireplace outside by the vineyards… Highly recommend this beautiful place.“

“Randomly stopped in here while driving around trying to figure out where to eat dinner. Super cool place! Old school cool vibe. Great beer and wine selection. GREAT people working there. The roast beef sub was AMAZING! The meat pizza was beyond belief. They do not skimp on toppings. The cheese pizza we got for our son was equally amazing. My wife stole a piece or two from him. We spent 4 days in Elijay and ate at all the popular spots. All of the food we had was fantastic, but if I had only one recommendation to give someone, it would be this place.“

“We almost didn’t try this place because of a view bad reviews. Thankfully we understand some people nit pick on a one off experience. We were in Ellijay for 5 days and came back twice! Best wings we’ve ever had! Between the 2 visits we had the bbq pizza, col. Simmons add chipotle chicken, and the BLACK GOAT! Omg! Sooooo good! Last night we showed up as they were closing, I mention this because one reviewer ripped apart their customer service and staff. The whole staff not only stayed open for us but were beyond accommodating and friendly. We will be back!“

“We were heading home from Blue Ridge, GA and wanted a local breakfast. Our daughter found you online and we are so glad she did. We had french toast, bacon, eggs, grits, egg bake with gravy and of course pancakes. Our granddaughter loves pancakes and you can tell she’s happy! ? It was all delicious! We also enjoyed the couple playing and singing. What a great way to end our vacation.“

“Good food. Busy when we came in. Only two servers at the bar. No seats remaining in restaurant. Seems to be a local favorite. When we were seated at the bar, our order was taken quickly. Food came out hot and quickly. Would go back if in area again.Parking: A lot across the street and street parking was free. Another lot further down was pay to park. Very limited parking in the area.Kid-friendliness: No kids at the bar but kids can be seated at the tables. Don't recall a kids menu but they do have things children will eat.“
