A solid coffee shop in downtown Ellijay. There is not much seating inside but plenty of benches and seating along the roundabout and the center of the roundabout.

Went in for the first time today while in Ellijay on vacation. I ordered a 16oz white mocha latte with oat milk. I was given a 12oz and the barista corrected my drink by dumping the 12oz into a 16oz cup and adding more ice. I asked if there wasn’t another shot of espresso in the 16oz and she told me that all drinks—regardless of size—have 2 shots of espresso. She also said that there is a sign outside that states that. The sign? It’s the one for specialty drinks leading you to believe that only the specialty drinks are served with 2 shots of espresso. So I paid extra for more ice—not even more oat milk. Just ice is the only difference between the sizes. Don’t waste your money in this place.

First visit and last visit today. My husband and I were visiting Ellijay today, which is a Monday. We went in to get a coffee and left without one. I ordered a double espresso with whip cream. I always drink my espressos with milk or half and half creamer everywhere I order it and at home. They give me my drink in a tiny mouthwash size cup filled to the top with no room for creamer. I ask the lady behind the counter if they had a cup a little larger that I could have so I could add creamer to it. I was told no while I was staring at their many stacks of cups. The barista went to the lady at the register to ask and that’s when she came over to sternly tell me NO and that if I wanted a different cup I’d have to buy another drink. I would have paid a little extra for another cup but I’m not buying a completely new drink just so I can get a bigger cup for my original drink. I don’t drink plain coffee or plain espresso so I just slid my tiny cup back to the lady and just walked out. Had I known that would be the cup I would get I surely wouldn’t have ordered it. They were rude and didn’t care if I enjoyed my drink or not, terrible customer service. They didn’t care to help and acted like I was asking for them to cut off their right arm or something. I just left my drink on the counter and walked out because it wasn’t going to ruin my day in Ellijay. I will never be back and I will definitely not recommend anyone to this coffee place. I wish I had read the reviews about the rude workers before I wasted my money here.

Great experience in the shop. But recommending that gross bathroom to anyone should be criminal. You need to work with the city to provide decent services if you cannot provide them.

I loved my mocha from this place!! Cute place with a great vibe. It was awesome too get to meet the owner.... He's a nice German family man... authentic European coffee with lots to choose from!! When you walk into the store the aroma of coffee hits you in the face and makes you want to order everything! The pastries are made by the German man and taste wonderful.

Super disappointed in the breakfast bagels/breakfast croissants. They used frozen egg patties and microwave bacon on them. My croissant came with like 3 pieces of microwave bacon and a slice of American cheese and it cost almost $6. My husband’s bagel was a frozen egg patty with a slice of American cheese and it was the same. We were both pretty disappointed.
