Great little wood fire pizza place in Ellijay. Nice location, vibes, and good food. Got the lobster, crab and artichoke fondue along with the meat pizza. Great eats! Topped off with a draft IPA that was delicious.

Ellijay Wood Fire Pizza was my favorite place to eat during a recent visit to Ellijay, Georgia. We loved it so much we went twice for dinner. It is a cute little restaurant across from Ellijay's Square. I loved the cozy local vibe and excellent hospitality. Let's talk about the menu. We ordered Gilmer County's Best Meatball Parma for an appetizer, which was delicious. The cheese and sauce were the perfect complement. The marinara sauce wasn't too sweet or acidic. For the pizzas, we tried the El Greco (anchovy, caper, kalamata, olives, crushed tomato, onion, mozzarella, provolone) and the make your own, which in the menu is listed as New York Style Cheese and added different toppings. The crust and the sauce were the stars of the night; as mentioned before, the marinara wasn't too sweet or acidic. If you are in the area, I highly recommend eating at Ellijay Wood Fire Pizza. The place is small, so there may be a wait during peak hours. Also, it can get warm indoors, due to the wood fire oven.

Really enjoyed our lunch after hiking. Margarita pizza and salads were excellent. Great service and staff were pleasant and attentive. Definitely worth a try.

Really small place and really crowded by the door with boxes and what not. Once you get seated it's quite fantastic. The adult drinks here were really delicious and wow the pizzas were spot on!

Lunch in downtown Ellijay was great. We had salads and the caprese! It was good food, good service and a relaxing atmosphere!

The food was ok, honestly it was overpriced and nothing special, the fries were fantastic, the service was amazing, we got there at around noon and we got our order in very fast. Our food took maybe 15 minutes to come out. If you decide to go here and you get cold easily I would bring a jacket because it was pretty cold. Honestly other than the fries this place wasn't somewhere I would go to normally.

Sydney was a good waitress, and along with the help of another waitress they kept the food and drinks service moving. Atmosphere is so so, but I went there to eat delicious pizza and salads. Price is reasonable. My first time to visit Wood Fire Pizza.

First time and night in Ellijay and decided to come here for dinner. Parked in the public parking lot by the courthouse, and it was a short walk to the restaurant. We ordered a pepperoni pizza, BBQ chicken pizza, and a large smokey ceasar salad. They didn't have enough chicken for a full pizza, so they did half chicken and half pork. Both pizzas were good. I think drizzling some BBQ sauce over the BBQ pizza would've made it even better. The soda is served in a bottle, which is kind of nostalgic but also not ideal for getting refills. I guess it just depends on which one is more important to you. Overall, it was a nice, quaint place with good food and would recommend stopping by if you're in the area.
