As a first-timer at JMS, I found the staff to be a little confused and getting orders mixed up. I was in the mood for a meatball sub, but I didn't know the overall theme and that they didn't make one. I went with Philly Steak and was looking forward to the classic steak, onions, peppers, and provolone cheese I had in Philadelphia several years back! That isn't what I got. I was surprised to learn they use American cheese. That doesn't mean it's wrong or that it wasn't good. It was a different take on the classic... That's all.

Jersey Mike’s is hands down the best sandwich shop around! Every time I go, the quality is top-notch, from the fresh bread to the perfectly sliced meats and cheeses. The staff is always friendly, quick, and happy to customize orders. Highly recommend!

My favorite sub place, no comparison with Subway. Sub rolls are also baked fresh and all meat is sliced for your order. I've never had a sub there that I didn't absolutely love.

The subs are always good ! However this morning the two managers were cussing and arguing at each other. Very unprofessional this is not the first time

Love this Jersey Mike’s in Ellijay! I’ve been here a bunch of times, and they never disappoint. The food is always fresh and tasty, and the service is awesome. The staff is super friendly, and Jacob especially makes you feel welcome every time. If you’re in the area and craving a great sub with even better service, definitely check them out!"

Let me preface this post by saying that I am an enormous fan of Jersey Mike’s ever since ordering from the very first location in NJ. With that being said, I was so disappointed in my visit to the Elijay location yesterday. I ordered a giant #44 with specific directions of just putting cheese and extra hot sauce on it along with 2 other ones. Imagine my surprise when my son unwrappped his sub only to kind it had been prepared Mikes way. He could not eat it. That sub was almost $18!!! I was the one who placed the order, I saw and heard the guy, who took my order, give the specifics to the one on the grill. I will continue to use this location because it’s the only one close to me (30 miles) but I am frustrated.
