Our visit here was nothing above AWFUL. It took over 25 min for anyone to even great our table to get drinks and bring chips /salsa. That was afrer someone went to the hostess area to see where our waiter was. Then we got some drinks, took another 10 minutes to get chips and salsa. Didn't even ask us about appetizers when taking our drink order. Then we had to flag them down just to order. We were there an hour and 45 minutes before we got our food. No one came back after they brought it out. They forgot several sides and the tortillas to go with the fajitas. Most of our food was luke warm. At this point, most of us didn't even want to eat anymore because we filled up on chips and salsa since we were so hungry. Mind you, we also got here at 5:40. There were 6 servers on the floor. It's not a big restaurant. No one apologized for the slow/poor service. Drinks never got refilled unless we went to the bar to ask, and then the lady behind the bar proceeded to say she didn't speak English. Seriously!?! Overall, we do NOT RECOMMEND this mexican restaurant. Save yourself and your time and go somewhere else in town. One of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had.

Food was really good but it took over 2 HOURS for our table to get our food. The server taking care of us was running the register checking people out, running the bar, and waiting on multiple large groups. I’m not sure if they were short staffed the evening we went but our table only got refills once and that was only because someone from our group took our cups to the bar and asked our server to refill the drinks please. The food was fresh and the chips were amazing… not greasy at all, but the service was horrible. We will try this restaurant again and give it another try. It may have just been a short staffed evening.
Another great visit!! We love la Catrina even on a busy night we did have to wait longer than usual for food but our waiter made sure our drinks stayed full and we had everything we needed !

Chips and salsa were great. Chips are thinner like in Texas. The Mahi tacos were not prepared correctly. I suspect they were cooked frozen, because they were way overcooked. And not seasoned. Charo beans were fantastic. Chili relleno was good.

Amazing tacos! The beans and rice were great too and the beers are huge! Everyone is so nice on the staff as well. You won’t be disappointed :)
