Pizza on the bar is sometimes dried out, but they do offer to make anything you ask for, so that pretty much cancels out. Just watch for it to come out on the bar or it might be gone before you get to it! Lol! Fun place for a cold or rainy day to hang out with friends for lunch. The price is a little high for lunch as we spend over $30 for one adult and 2 kids. (One child is adult price) for the buffet not including the money we spent on games. But as an every once in a while thing it's good!Kid-friendliness: Fun for the kids too choose what they want to eat and then play in the arcade. But you have to spend quite a bit of money to get prizes more than tootsie rolls or candy. All in, if you go with a limit in mind, the kids still have a great time! Especially good for cold or rainy days when you can't be outside.

Papas pizza is possibly the best place in Ellijay the pizza is excellent, the people are friendly, and its extremely clean they always get 100A. It's also a great family place.

My family has been eating here for years. While the food has never been 5 star, the service has always been exceptional, until last Saturday. We ordered the buffet, as usual. It happened to be Apple festival weekend, so I was surprised there weren't alot of people there. Also, I assume, the food would be fresh , in anticipation of all the tourists. Well, there was practically nothing on the bar. What was there , was so hard and nasty, I spit it back out! I am not a picky eater. I put in a request when we paid and a good number of people walked in behind us ( including party goers) So, I thought food would be coming out soon. We sat there for over half an hour before making the decision to leave. On the way out the door,they started bringing out food ?A couple sitting across from us also got tired of the service and left before us. Never in my life have I left an all you can eat buffet hungry!! I don't know if it's the price of food ( maybe they were ordered to not stock the buffet,or throw out old food) or if it was bad workers,or just an off day? I do know, it will be a very long time before I take a chance of trying it again.Which sucks because I used to really like them.
