Several pros here. The scenery and the view is gorgeous. We could stay by the sun in the tables outside for hours. The service is really friendly and attentious. I support their rules about serving only groups 21+.... My bad is review is exclusively about the greasy food. It was not edible. The French onion soup had a layer of oil. The patty melt left my hand shut with so much oil. You could squeeze the grease out.. my wife could not finish her eagyu sliders because the taste was so bad with all the greasy stuff. We threw away the second slider completely... It is a pity because with good food or at least edible, this place would be perfect.

My husband and I love going to wineries! There are many beautiful wineries in North GA; but in our opinion, ROO takes the cake! We love their food, beautiful scenery and of course, the wine! Staff is sweet and we always look forward to coming back!!!

Great wine tasting with a relaxed, cozy atmosphere. The short rib sandwiches were a standout—delicious and hearty. Definitely worth a visit.

Roo Mountain Vineyards is absolutely stunning and easily one of the most scenic wineries we’ve been to. The property is massive, with plenty of space to relax and take in the views. They offer a huge selection of excellent wines, and it’s a nice bonus that they also have beer options. We sat outside with our dogs, enjoying the fresh air and overlooking a breathtaking mountain backdrop that truly makes this place special. The atmosphere is laid-back, welcoming, and perfect for spending a few hours unwinding. Whether you’re a wine lover or just looking for an incredible spot to relax and enjoy the scenery, this place is a must-go and an overall amazing experience. Ill note we did go at a non busy time of year and it was very quiet. I skimmed the worst reviews and yeah, its 21+ its their policy and if you want cheap wines go to Walmart. 10/10 place to come enjoy.

We ended up at Roo 3 times this vacation, you can not beat the sunsets, it is a bit pricier, but very nice.

The place is beautiful. The views are spectacular. Wine is good. Did the tasting in the barrel room and the atmosphere is top notch. Food served was pretty good. Very thoughtful menu but execution left a little to be desired. Staff is amazing and overall the experience was definitely worth the price. Would do it again.

Drove all the way here and they did not even let me do the wine tasting with my 20 year old son. Not even if he stayed in the car. They told me he would have to drive away and pick us up. What type of rule is that? The facility looks nice but that is just ridiculous.

Stunningly gorgeous mountaintop winery with tons of wine, cider and craft beer and views for days!

Nice location and pretty good wine for GA. We also tried the mushroom cheese flatbread but was all bread, very little toppings and the fondue was tasty but too runny.

Fantastic winery. Get the turkey sandwich, trust me, it’s a life decision you won’t regret.
And to the folks leaving 1 star reviews because you feel entitled to bring your baby, even though they’re ‘sLeEpInG,’ please just stop. No kids allowed means, wait for it, no kids allowed.
They posted the rule on five different signs. Try reading one. Or all of them. Whatever helps.

Went there for the first time recently, and had an amazing time! Our server, Shannon, was very knowledgeable about the wines they serve as well as the food, which were both delicious! She was also very witty and funny, and gave us a memorable date night that will not soon forget! We can't wait to come back! Thank you Roo Mountain Vineyards and Bistro!

100% recommended. The views are just beautiful and the staff are great.
I found this gem while checking on things to do at blue ridge.
I was so excited by just looking at the picture and definitely exceed expectations.

This ended up being an engagement visit which made it way better.
My now fiance rented a cabana, which oversees the beautiful vineyard.
Our server Lani was what made this experience even more special. She was so friendly and attentive.
She even went above and beyond and took pictures after we got engaged. We couldn’t thank her enough

We had the cheers tray and it was delicious. The wine selection was awesome too
Definitely worth visiting.

This is a beautiful vineyard. It was extremely crowded the day we were there, but we still enjoyed our visit. We didn't get to do sample tasting because the line was long, but we enjoyed the glasses we had. The outdoor area is lovely. This was a great stop on our Ellijay Wine Tour.
