A real hidden gem not easily found by accident. We have driven by many times and would never have stopped if not for the reviews found here. A small group of locals play live string music on Friday nights that make for an enjoyable dinner experience. Service was a bit slow possibly because they were making boxes full of fried pies to take somewhere else during Apple Festival weekend. The pulled pork, fries and Brunswick stew were all good but not the best to be found in the area. However, the fresh made hot fried pies were the best we have ever had and will bring us back often. The coconut fried pie was amazing.

After a long day of spontaneous, un mapped hiking we found this little gym on a quest for fuel, alas we were not dissapointed, friendly folks, quick service and delicious BBQ! A peerfect balance of vinegar and sugar base. Coleslaw was unlike anything I had ever experienced, but greatly enjoyed with its prominent flavor of black pepper, would be a great accoutrement to their B-B-Que sandwhich served between two slices of garlic toast.

We picked up the BBQ on the way to visit some family. They got our order in a reasonable amount of time even though we didn't call ahead. Delicious food and good price!
