Bottom Line Bakery & Cafe

I stumbled upon this wonderful bakery, almost by accident. We have a business in the same plaza and I always pass by but one day my daughter thought we needed to stop in there to see what they had.
That was six months ago !
And I’m still a fan !!!
Everything’s fresh and it smells so good when you walk in …the bread is fresh the sweets are delicious. We won’t even talk about the sourdough crackers ! The BEST!!!
You could also order a batch of their fresh homemade artichoke dip !!! Myself, and my entire family, and coworkers cannot get enough of it!!

Hands-down, one of the best bakeries in the CSRA for sure !!!

Ordered 2 Brulee's that weren't brulee'd (if that's a word)
Special cookies: unknown/no label included to inform what kind I was given. A quart of local honey ordered but not included because they failed to remove it from their website and inform me that they no longer sell it, I had to call to find out. I also had to wait 24hrs for my food. Unable to rate the taste of the products I ordered because I lost my appetite.

Basic cake. The girl that took my order looked annoyed but she was friendly.
The cake was very pretty but for $115 for a round white cake with little hearts all around it feeding 15? I feel robbed. No fondant just some piping and the writing on cake wasn’t very neat. Cake fell apart crumbled as we cut into it a bit dry. Icing broke apart. The flavor was good but I won’t be back for a birthday cake. They do have some very nice looking treats in the case.

So as far as I understand, I’m allowed to give an honest review. I didn’t enjoy the cake because I felt It was overpriced and dry.
So instead of allowing me to have an honest review, the owner replies with an attitude making me feel even worse about the situation and trying to blame me, instead of trying to fix the problem or take accountability.
Stating that I had more than one option is so far from the truth. If I had been offered something else I would have chose something else. When I asked to see any options, she told me to refer to Facebook instead of pulling any other options herself. I was told that $80 was the cheapest cake not only over the phone, but when I was standing there in front of everyone, so maybe check your cameras.
Yes, I could’ve went somewhere else if I was unhappy with the price, but this was my first time ordering a custom cake and I figured for the price it was going to be worth it.
When I picked up the cake, it WAS super cute. I simply was just unhappy with what I paid and the quality after we got it home and didn’t want to complain or try to get a refund as I appreciated the bakery getting the cake within 2 days.
The response from the owner let me know I can spend my money with someone who values ALL their customers. It’s easy to be a good business owner when things are going right, but when somebody is unhappy is when it counts. I was unfortunately unhappy with a cake they made. She could’ve responded with some sort of empathy for the situation. 😕

I ordered a 10 inch chocolate cake with specialty decorations for my husband's 80th birthday. Every step of the way from initial contact; consultation; ordering; payment and delivery went smoothy. The best part was the exquisite; delicious cake. Our guests were just so impressed by the decorations but just as much but the absolutely delicious chocolate cake and icing.

I asked Kelsey and team Bottom Line Bakery to make a specialty cake order for an employee of mine for her 20th workversary recognition. Kelsey hadn't done a cake like I was asking for but the banana pudding cake she crafted and created was amazing. My staff member who was recognized is a real foodie and she said hands down best cake ever! A marriage between a beautiful wonderful wedding cake and the best banana pudding ! WAY TO GO BOTTOM LINE BAKERY -try their amazing baked good and creations in Evans or their newest bakery in downtown Aiken!

It was my first time coming here. The NY Style crumbcake was ok, BUT it is no where near what truely NY crumb cake really looks or tastes like. There was very little crumb topping. Very disappointed for the price. Not a very big selection of baked goods.

Absolutely delicious. I bought my husband and daughter a few boxes of mixed goodies and then proceeded to eat most of it.

OMG I cannot say enough about Kelsey and what she did for my great nephews first birthday party! The design and OMG the flavor and taste. I can’t thank you enough for everything!!!

Bottom Line Bakery did the desserts for our wedding last month and everything was absolutely phenomenal! Our wedding cake was the biscoff cookie butter cake and we also got two kinds of cookies, triple chocolate chip and brownie. So many of our guests raved about all of the desserts! Even guests who normally don't like cake loved the biscoff cake. Would highly recommend if you're looking for delicious desserts for your special event!

Now look...I came in to pick up a cake for a friend. I had no intentions of buying ANYTHING. Momma at the counter showed me the cake and it was cute....but I was looking at the pastries in the glass case. And once I confirmed it was a judge free zone I went a head and put my order in. I got the kitchen sink brownie, lemon bar, and two Biscoff cake slices. (Cause some things you can share and some things you can't.) Then I said, I feel like I going to regret leaving that pecan pie bar...and after Momma spoke up and said it was the ish... I had to have it. Chiiiiild, I don't know who put they foot in this pecan pie bar but its so rich and delicious I had to cut on this Dell computer and write this review. Go get you two. Kelsey and her team are absolutely amazing!! I’ve ordered 2 cakes with them on separate occasions and they’ve never disappointed us. They are all very welcoming, responsive, and reasonable on price! Even our 11 year old still talks about the baking class she took with BLB last year and how much fun she had with the team. Thank you for creating beautiful and delicious sweet treats for our special celebrations!!

The cake I ordered for my bridal shower ended up being better than I could’ve hoped for. I showed up one Saturday asking if they could do something unusual but they said they’d take it on. When I came to pick it up, I literally squealed like a maniac because of how beautifully it turned out. Bottomline bakery was able to take an idea that was in my head, and not only make it happen, but made it ART. Was so sad to actually have to eat it. Will be returning for my wedding cake and any future bakery needs.

BEST BAKERY EVER!!!! The BEST sweets you can find. Everything is SO DELICIOUS! Every worker is so sweet and a pleasure to deal with. The owner is so hardworking and kind. I can’t suggest this bakery enough. 100000/10
