Added Note:
Raised a star bc they replied and will likely try again in the future- to see if this was a one-off. 🤷♀️
I appreciate they responded, I agree 'different tastes' and stand by my review on ones I tried.

Husband brought home six cookie from here today. He said they were about $14 for the 6.
Our adult son and daughter-in-law have raved about the place and I have tried some sort of cookie they made and I did like it, but - I have to confess- I have not been nor have I heard of it.
I wasn't with DH when he ordered, but he said that this was akin to in-store iPad, presented the 6-8 types at that time.
Was this because it was in the afternoon?
Was this because they only make so many per day?
Is this because they like to change what they make and not keep a consistent type?
Got me. (Shrugs)
I just know the ones he brought home- 2 choc chip, 2 choc with choc frosting, 1 Carmel & sea salt, and one called something pretzel strawberry something he can't recall.
Everyone has their own tastes.
Some are more picky than others.
To be fair, I'm picky and have texture issues with food. I also generally prefer to eat natural and organics- but love something sweet.
I like to look for shops that can provide what I can make- without my effort and amount of sweets home-baking makes! Then I'd eat em and before long, we'd need to widen all the doors for me to fit through. No thanks.
With that being said, I enjoy a good sweet. I'm hopeful when I get recommendations about places, too, and I have tried something that I have liked.
This is not the case from my DH's visit today.
These, by in large, were not for me. 🫣
The caramel sea salt was a pretty good cookie. It didn't taste like it was from a carton or a stale hospital waiting room.
It seemed to be fulled cooked. It was neither attractive nor unattractive. It looked basic.
Minimalism is aces with me in food. I prefer it. Simple. Tidy. Neat. Uncomplicated. Not 'too much'.
The Pretzel strawberry white glob goo.. erm... bleh.. no. No. (Shaking my head) Hard Stop NO.
This... uncooked? Undercooked? unappetizing looking pile- which I can only assume was designed and created by whoever's three year old owner of said place - thinks is brilliant.
To include the crushed, half chewed bits of pretzel and the red runny slime which I think is suppose to be the 'strawberry' but truly looks like something a small child would spit out.
The white part has no smell, but isn't grainy like the uncooked dough feels. The 'fluff' is slick and sticky like crisco and sugar, maybe powdered sugar for color?
The two choc chip ones. Meh.
It reminds me of those 'Soft batch' or soft bake- in the red bag. Didn't like em then, maybe that's why don't like these...? (Shrugs)
They aren't awful but they are not impressive.
They are not nearly as ugly as the pretzel 3 year old creation. Any bakery, anywhere, does these better- cheaper, and you can probably find them warm.
If you like undercooked, these may be your schtick.
The last and most disappointing was the chocolate chocolate ones.
These looked like they'd be good... until you bit down into one.
How can something be both undercooked and overcooked..? Well, if you'd like to experience the dilemma personally, give this cookie a try. It manages both skillfully.
It has a raw, 'OMG, was this even in an ov
