Hole in the wall Thai place. However, they have a lot of menu options and the food is really good. They customized the heat level for our group from low to very high and it was spot on for everyone's taste.

This place used to be really good ..... I don't know if there is a new ownership but last week I made a stop in Augusta so I can enjoy this place however was a big disappointment... Tom Yum Soup was really bad and week on flavor, my entree also was a mess they used to do the things way better in the past, spicy tray was empty, and very dirty...

MainThai is the only place we go for Thai food. We stumbled on it when we moved here and have gone back many times. It's quaint and unassuming and the food is delicious. The staff has always been friendly and attentive. They have a full menu that guarantees you'll find something you love.
Mai Thai is one of the restaurants we take out of town friends to and they always enjoy it.

The staff is courteous and kind. I came here years ago and the food was great. I would say it's okay now. Noodles, I didn't like. The carrots, a little too much bite. Sauce was great because I got thai spice level. Chicken very good. Something has changed but what doesn't after years. I come into the CSRA area on occasion and this is what I felt like today. I give 3.5 for food. I'm going home satiated.

The drunken noodle here is pretty good when it's fresh. It's not at all spicy tho. If you want it actually spicy you gotta ask. When you get take-out the noodles are crammed into a brick, but the taste is still good. To be fair it is alot of noodles.

I arrived here 45 minutes ago and was told 25 minutes. This is very unpleasant. Unacceptable actually. I'm still waiting but I guess I'm giving up. Also very hot inside. ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»

I ordered the pad Thai and the mango sticky rice. The pad Thai was not bad at all But paying seven dollars for less than a 1/2 of cup of sticky rice and an extremely small mango is not ideal. Iβve definitely had better and more for the price.
They claimed on the front page of their menu to be the first Thai cuisine in Augusta and they didn't disappoint. The food tasted at a level I have had Thai food in Asia before. So that's a good thing. The service was ok. We went on a Friday evening right after they opened at 1700. They were not busy for dine-in, but there were a number of take-out orders during the time we were there. That's the reason why it took them a solid 30mn for our food to come out. Other than that, it's a solid place all around. I will have to check out other Thai places in the area to compare, whether the first Thai cuisine in Augusta could also be the best Thai cuisine in Augusta.
The food is delicious and the service is wonderful!
Food was really good, service left much to be desired.
My wife and I moved to Augusta about 2 years ago. She found this place and itβs been our staple takeaway spot since. The chicken pad Thai is stunning. The fried dumplings and chicken satay are great too. The servers are kind, and always remember your order. If youβre in town and crave some Vietnamese food, look no further.
