Attempted to visit this location Wednesday 08/14 @ 6:40pm. As we approached the store wasn't sure if they were open or not. Very dark inside. Opened the door and went inside and was greeted by a young lady at the frt counter. I noticed right away they had very little chicken cooked up on the service line. I then noticed that all the prepped food on the holding table appeared to be expired according to food safety standards. The cabbage was greasy looking and was dark in color on top giving the appearance that it as well as the other food were past hold times. At that point my wife and I decided to take our business elsewhere. I reached out to the owners by email, but never heard from anyone. Wonder how much longer this location will be in business. I want return.

Great customer service BUT the chicken tenders had a good taste but VERY GREASY. And the white chicken 2 Piece was VERY DRIED. And the string beans was SALTY. So my mother and I wont be back. There was no one in there. The Vents needs to be cleaned. I would think since we were the only ones in there. Instead of the worker that belongs in back staying outside in front of the building he needed to be back there cleaning. When he got done with our order he went right back outside till another customer came then he would come back in.

After 16 minutes I was ask if I wanted to substitute something else for the breast I had ordered, evidently they cook each order after the last order is served. I'm glad I had the correct change, no one's only loose change.

The service was very slow and the dining area wasn't very neatly kept. The chicken was good, but not like the Broad St. location. I probably won't go back.

Came in at 715 to order food should have known better than to continue to order. No one was in there except the people that work there. They were almost out of everything which looked like had been sitting under warmers ALL DAY. Order a kids meal that only came with one tender. Biscuits were rolls. Chicken was dry that had been sitting out all day or re fried from the day before. Mac and cheese was cold and macaroni was hard as a rock maybe over cooked. Green beans were wayyyy over seasoned couldn't eat another bite. Mashed potatoes and gravy were ice cold. I ordered a two piece dark and got four legs without my knowledge and the two piece white combo chicken tasted like fish. I'm not even going to bother to call them bc they are going to give me a free meal but it would be a waste of time I just want a refund bc I won't be going back. figured I would post this so this doesn't happen to anyone else. Look at the food before you buy. That's all I can say! I personally wouldn't waste my time here hopefully i can stop someone from making a big mistake

Best friend chicken around! Great service and delicious sides! Always hot and cooked to perfection!

2 weeks ago, it was "to-die-for" good. This week, not so much. In fact, it was better cold the next day! Really then, it depends on the cook.

The chicken and service was great. Had to wait on the chicken, but it was fried fresh. Yankee cornbread in Georgia, way to sweet. Mac and cheese was good and so were the collards . No 5th star the men's restroom smelled awful and before I used the toilet I noticed somebody missed on a number 2.

Thank you Mrs. Vickie for making my last two orders A1. My mama ate her entire plate you made today. Everything was freshly cooked and delicious...she ate all 3 of those wings and veggies!! Thank you Mrs. Vickie you are definitely the best!!

Horrible customer service experience.

The young lady at the register was nice. They don't have all of the items that they have on Broad Street. My fries were hot because they had to be cooked to order; there wasn't any salt on them so they were bland. The pulleys were not hot either and had very little flavor. I won't go to the Evans location again. The downtown location is the best one to go to.

I wish I'd seen Amber's review from 3 weeks ago after having the same experience.. I wouldn't go back if it was FREE, much less pay money for cold bland food served with attitudes that match. However, if you just can't resist, bring your own condiments because tat Maryland's, they ration like the Great Depression

Good food. Only concern is that they ran out of chicken tenders and chicken thighs. Otherwise the service was kind.
