Went for a birthday lunch. Service was very very slow. We ordered cheese dip and it was cold. We ended up canceling our order but to a long wait. We ordered after 30 minutes we inquired about our order and was told it would be another 30 mins before we would get our food and all we ordered was tacos. We ended up just leaving and we had a bill of $20 which consisted of 4 drinks and a small cheese dip.

Look, this has been my family's go to for years. Is it El Rey quality? No, certainly not. El Rey is the best Mexican restaurant in town. Mi Rancho is chain Mexican restaurant quality. What makes Mi Rancho special is the employees and speed/quality of service. The food is consistent, albeit occasionally under seasoned, but hits the spot. Being from San Diego and studying for 4 semesters in Guadalajara I was spoiled, but this place is convenient and easy for your simple Mexican staples.Definitely recommend if you're looking for some quick fajitas, a burrito, enchiladas, or a Chile relleno.Dietary restrictions: They can do gluten free and dairy free (corn tortillas, no queso/cheese). If looking for a dietary restriction, I recommend the fajitas.Vegetarian options exist as well but I'm fairly confident you'll have to include gluten at that point.Parking: There are only 6-8 spaces directly out front but a massive parking lot if you're willing to walk ~20'Wheelchair accessibility: You can take a wheel chair towards the anytime fitness to get around the stairs. Plenty of space inside to accommodate.

First time at this location and it was very cozy. Attentive staff and quick service. Ordered the queso dip was not running or thin and the complementary salsa and chips were really good. We ordered the spinach/mushroom quesadilla, burrito deluxe, and the chipotle burrito. Portions were huge, had to take leftovers. Overall, very happy with our dinner selection.

First and last time. We ordered a SMALL picture of top shelf margaritas and our server brought us a large. I told her I wanted a small and she said that's all they had. They were less than mediocre. So was the food. Then we were charged $40 for the margaritas. I told our server that we would never have ordered a $40 pitcher of margaritas and she smiled. I told her we would never be back and she said thank you. Very loud.

Food awesome, lived in el paso for years. Server didnt speak english, or pretended not to. Ok, my wife is mexican, but then server was rude to wife. I didnt know, i dont speak spanish. Relleno was so small i had to dig for it, waitress and manager saw it was ridiculous as well. Server kept walking away while wife was talking to her. Left 1.50 tip on 45. Wife told me to write grosera on ticket. I was a server in college, bad cooks pissed me off, but thats not your problem here. Bad service. We wont come back and that makes me sad, but wife has strong latina blood, wont be disrespected.

This is an insider's view to the monstrosity that is Mi Rancho Mexican Restaurant. I worked here for two years and recently left due to the horrific environment and unprofessional, unsanitary atmosphere. I was not fired and have actually maintained a lot of dignity in leaving, but I want to warn anyone thinking about working here or dining here. You should know that this establishment has a roach infestation in the kitchen and on the patio. Nothing is sanitized properly, no employees handwash (sometimes there is not soap in the back), employees touch your utensils with unwashed hands, the ice bucket that your drinks have ice from is dug into with employees hands as well. There is also a rat problem and servers are told to put their purses on shelves in hopes that the rats in the back don't chew our things. The food already is enough to deter most people, but please do not dine here because there are countless safety and food hygiene violations. Other places have proper training and hygiene standards, but not Mi Rancho. The staffing and management is deplorable. Not only have the past two managers I worked under been extremely unprofessional, Lionel was very condescending and made predatory comments towards high school girls and even patrons dining at the restaurant. Although he is no longer there, Walter, who was district manager, would verbally harass female staff members and make waitresses feel uncomfortable due to his excessive staring and touching on his supervisor visits and nothing was done when brought to the attention of management. An assistant manager as well as an older man working the backline regularly would touch unwanting female staff (pulling hair, neck kissing, etc) and make inappropriate comments. These derogatory comments were echoed by most male staff members. Young women and girls please be careful and avoid this restaurant, especially as a potential workplace. Nobody is immune to the constant harassment and degradation that takes place at this restaurant. Comments were even made about young girls dining here. This is under an alias for personal protection, but these sentiments have voiced by numerous girls who have worked here.

I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience at Mi Rancho. The ambiance was inviting, and the menu offered a delightful variety of dishes. Our server, Brittney provided exceptional service, offering helpful recommendations and ensuring our needs were met. The food was flavorful, and the overall atmosphere contributed to a memorable evening. I look forward to returning soon.

Everything is just okay. I haven't been here in years and I feel like there was a not so good experience. I know the chicken wings always disappoints in my opinion. I think I've had the chicken tacos and it was dry. For Mexican, it was definitely low end, last choice food. Kinda dim last I remember. Service was meh.

It’s your typical mi rancho Mexican restaurant. However the short bald server we had was a complete douche. He got the order wrong, he was very unattentive, and then when his tip reflected that, he had the audacity to come to my table and verify the amount I tipped him.Take your business up the street to Salsa’s where you get better food, better service and also wont get ripoff prices for some darn tacos. In case the bald dude reads this, tipping is not mandatory. It is however customary. If you want better tips, give better service. If you can’t do that, find another profession. For you to embarrass a person in front of company is not acceptable.

Sat down for 25 minutes with no drinks or an order. Tables around us who sat after us were getting served. Disappointing. Can’t rate the food because no one ever took our order. Walked out after 30 minutes.
