The food was decent, but i ordered the burger. I enjoyed the fries- they were nice and crispy. Some of the other stuff looked a little overpriced for what you got. The service, on the other hand, was outstanding. Our server, Leah, was attentive and answered all of our questions. She even made a nice sushi suggestion for a friend who is vegetarian. She had a great personality and having her as our server was a terrific experience.

We’d visited several times before, but the first time Mindy was our server, we were hooked — now we don’t want to sit with anyone else. She’s a true bright spot in this restaurant: warm, upbeat, and genuinely attentive. She has a way of making everyone she interacts with smile, and her personalized service makes every visit feel special.
It’s also clear she’s a great teammate; you can see how well she works with her coworkers. Mindy is an incredible asset to Takosushi, and honestly, we wouldn’t come nearly as often without her!

We came on Halloween day. The service was great. We had tried the fried calari at the other location and we loved it so we ordered here too. But we got really salty, chewy calamari. The corn on the garnish salad that came with it was old and sour. The sushi rolls we order both with Avocado look horrible. The Avocado was clearly over ripe, mushy and dark. The fier cracker Shrimp was the only decent dish we had. Needless to say we would not be coming back.

We went here for dinner after not going to takosushi for almost a decade and were pleasantly surprised! The service was phenomenal! We had no wait and our waitress overheard us talking about it being cold in the restaurant and immediately offered to change our table. We wanted to sit outside and they were so quick to bus a table and allow us to move. Throughout the night our waitress was super friendly and attentive—probably the best service I’ve had at a restaurant in a while. I gave the food 4 stars because they’ve changed their menu (it is no longer locally owned and was sold to a corporate chain). I ordered a noodle bowl that was off menu and it was delicious but my husband got a Tako burger “burrito” style and he did not like it at all. It was literally a hamburger patty and cheese wrapped in a tortilla. We tried the tempura asparagus, egg rolls, and dumplings. My husband liked the asparagus but I did not. We both liked the egg rolls and dumplings however I did not like the dipping sauce that came with them. I go the green one sake and it was delicious as well! I also gave the atmosphere 4 stars because sitting outside was really nice and quiet but if you sit inside there felt like there was very little privacy. Part of the reason we wanted to move tables is because we were squeezed right next to another couple in a shared booth style seat and we could hear everything they were talking about and vice versa. Overall though I would consider going here again and it was a very pleasant experience.

Ordered take out. Miso soup was good. California and Dynamite rolls were very good with fresh ingredients. The salad was a salad. In retrospect I should have gotten a third roll instead. Order was correct and on time with utensils. Staff was friendly. Parking was cramped, but fine. Next time I'll eat in as it looked like a good atmosphere and lively. Will be back.

My opinion: overly hyped
I went at dinner rush and waited 20 to 25 minutes for my food Ordered the tako-burger and two tacos, my total was about $32 plus a tip, The two Takos both implied a spice level but there was none Nothing extraordinary about their food, flavors, or ambiance They do a great job at plating and the entrees look beautiful
It was a little crowded and cold inside so we took our food outside which offers a lovely view of greenery
Seemed overpriced for the portion sizes The quality wasn’t anything special…maybe they are known for their cocktails but I don’t drink
