My daughter went in to get me a Denver omlette and bacon. They had chunks of onions, peppers, ham and sliced cheese in it. They also had jalapeño peppers in it. The bacon I asked for was inside instead on the side. I did not ask for grits nor toast which I do eat, I just did not have a taste for. The ingredients tasted raw instead of al dente. Denver omlettes are made with all diced onions, green bell peppers, ham and shredded American or mild cheese. You cook it at medium so that the vegetables are al dented and not raw. Never is there a jalapeño pepper in a Denver omlette. Better luck next time.

We went on a Sunday before going to watch the new Dune sequel at noon so it was absolutely jam-packed with the after church crowd, which is to be expected of course. Not only were they super efficient at getting everyone to a table as quickly as possible, but they had someone acting as a hostess and keeping everything organized and running smoothly, even though when we first got there it was literally standing room only. The food is always awesome at this waffle but my waitress was the real star. She was one of the best waitresses I've had, no kidding. I wish I could remember her name but she was so quick but never seemed rushed or overwhelmed and had the most graceful, easy way about her. She also went out of her way for us more than once without blinking an eye, even in the midst of that packed Sunday morning crowd. It was last Sunday that we went, so the 17th of March and she was probably in her early 20s or 30s? Hard to guess because her skin was the most beautiful flawless caramel color and it made her look young, but her grace made her seem older! I only mentioned these details in hopes that maybe their manager will see this and give her a raise or something I was compelled to tip her 30 something dollars on a 20 something dollar tab she was honestly such a sweetheart!

No place like a waffle house for a quick dinner with your always on the go son.He loves the waffle house ...but he only lives the waffles and steak .We got there at a quiet time of the evening. Good food and good service.
The only wafflehouse that I will go to in the CSRA. I've been going for over 10 years 1-2 times a week.They now have an older gentleman that sits up at the register that check you out. Well he us lazy as he'll. Never puts ketchup syrup or silver ware in the bag. If you ask him to he doesn't get up off the stool and waits for one of the busy waitress to come by and do it. I'm a business owner myself and I must say his customer is horrible. Retrain him asap. Other than that I love my neighborhood wafflehouse

THEY SUCK! For the longest time, they were terrible about take-out. The phone is constantly off the hook so you cant even place an order. So, today I went in person to get take-out breakfast. I was craving a fiesta omelet. They denied me. They said "we're not doing take-out". Like, what? 1/3 of the tables were empty, there was room at the bar, its not like it was swamped. "We just dont wanna" is a B.S. take. Cracker Barrel, iHop, Flippin Egg... lots of other, better options. AVOID simply for the trash "policy".
