Fayetteville Smallcakes: Cupcakery & Creamery

I received a half dozen vegan strawberry cupcakes as a birthday gift. Unfortunately, they tasted undercooked, the binding agent made the cupcakes tast gummy rather than cake-y. This batch isn't edible.

I usually love small cakes, but the young man had zero enthusiasm. My cupcake was not moist at all. Almost as if it was old. The ice cream was pretty good though. I’ll stick to my original location in Stockbridge.

No problem with the desserts but you guys better teach your staff how to engage with other human beings and not stand there looking dumb and numb. I walked in the young male cashier named Jason looked at me like I had three heads….. I said hello he said nothing I said something is wrong with us. It’s like you try to support small business but when you get those bad feelings like that, makes you not wanna come back

Consistently good cupcakes

I love there is no maximum order. The wedding cake flavored is my favorite but all are wonderful. These cupcakes are always fresh, moist, dense and rich with perfect amount of icing. The icing is wow! Now cheap whip-cream style but butter-rich. Nicely decadent. The service was attentive and store is clean. I’m craving one now ?

Honestly these cupcakes are overpriced and tastes horrible. The icing literally tastes like NOTHING and the carrot cake one is nasty.

My wife and I stopped in to order a dozen cupcakes for our daughters birthday. The shop is small, there was something going on in an adjacent room (a party maybe?). We were "greeted" by two young men who looked like they wanted to be anywhere but in that shop. We tried to get some information, as this was our first time in the place, but could barely pull a couple of wirds out of these employees. We spent about $50 pre-ordering the cakes and another few on an ice-cream. Today we served them up, everything was really good. The customer service though...it's going to keep me from coming back. It's a cupcake store, you're probably going in because an event is happening or your treating someone...it's fun thing to go spend money on. Or it should be. Ditch the sad sack uninterested help and maybe these reviews won't be mentioning the service over product.

I was very disappointed in the quality of the cupcakes for the money that I spent. The cupcakes looked good and were decorated well, but the cake seemed to be boxcake batter instead of homemade. Very disappointing ?.

I needed a last minute dessert for the holiday and knew this place was close by, so I decided to go and see what they had! Surprisingly, when I walked in, they still had a few items available! I ended up getting an oreo cake and 2 dozen cupcakes. The oreo cake was delicious! Every bite of that cake sent a sugary rush and was mmm mmmm good! I found the cupcakes to be ok. The cake was super moist, and the icing was great. However, the cake flavor didn't stand on its own without the icing, which brought the entire bite together. I also found the price for a dozen cupcakes to be quite pricy, at nearly $45 a dozen! I mean, the cupcakes aren't bad, but I'm not sure about the price tag. I liked that the establishment was accommodating for the holiday and would have even more cakes available the next day if I wanted something different. Also, the staff helped me walk all the items to my car, which was a nice surprise! A good treat to have on occasion, but definitely not on a regular basis. I would stick to buying a large cake or a few cupcakes.

Cute little cupcake shop! As a baker myself I love tasting the goods from other shops. These cupcakes are nicely sized, plenty of icing, soft/moist, and incredibly delicious! It wasn’t my first trip here, but I will no doubt continue to return.

I spent over a 100 dollers. I got a strawberry cup cake wanted strawberry ice cream it was so dark did not taste like strawberries more like raspberry flavoring. I also ordered strawberries cup cake with vanilla ice cream. No way that was vanilla was so nasty I almost threw up. Taste like ice milk. My other 4 family member order they said it was not good it was a guy who served us Saturday night. Spending over a 100 dollars for stuff we could not eat. We try to support these businesses.

I come here way to much or order it way to much but today when I Came in and the guy was in a bonnet on the phone like he was at home he didn’t acknowledge me or speak I stood there awkwardly looking around waiting for him to get off the phone but he didn’t he took his conversation into the back for a couple minutes after 3 minutes he came out and just looked at me so I decided to speak first and tell him what I wanted he got my order and put it into the cash register then pointed at the card reader I do not know who hired someone like this but I felt very unwelcome and living in Fayetteville this was a first time encounter with someone unprofessional and unpleasant please hire professional happy people who can welcome customers with a smile and a friendly face. As a black owned business I would expect to see better customer service and not look like we’re in the hood at a friends house black people are already stereotyped why can’t we rise above this stereotype and show we have manners and great customer service someone please fire this guy he clearly does not want to work here and because of him I have to find another spot to fuel my weekly sugar addiction.

I love the cupcakes omg!! Always delicious. I just wish they advertise about your points or something. You don't know not unless you ask. The greetings when you come in nothing. It's a cupcakes place cheer up ? ?. Somebody say hello and thank you or something?. I came in happy to get my cupcakes, then walking out I was talking junk to myself. Dang the service omg??, then I said ok I do have yummy cupcakes ? cheer back up....
