Good food but way too expensive and portions are too small.

I made a couple of calls without response as I don’t usually leave negative reviews, however this really touched me. I ordered puff puff today because I was not in the mood to make one and I was sold a STALE puff puff. It was very stale, having a bite was impossible. This was disappointing because it was served to visitors that came visiting. Now this is not the first time of ordering puff puff. Infact I ordered again today because of how great and fresh the last one I ordered was. Disappointed

I knew I should have walked out when I saw the microwave on a chair, and when I saw all the open food and she took the fufu out of a cooler. She was wearing pajamas and nooo socks with crocs.. unprofessional. The food was nasty.. $18 and we got goat meat but It was only bone.. save your money ? you have better luck at McDonald’

The food is always amazing . I love it I grew up on West African culture. The reason I’m writing this review is because of the customer service . I tried to order a pounded yam meal on DoorDash and couldn’t find it . I called and they went into the app and fixed it so I could order it . Exceptional people and deserving . Thank you so much and when the food came it was AMAZING.

They are all so very RUDE!!!! Very nasty attitudes and know nothing about customer service. Lady was rushing us to hurry and order but this was our first time trying African cuisine so we were trying to decide. They were laughing and making comments. I asked for an extra piece of meat and the the lady said “if you want an extra piece it’s going to be 7.99. I overheard someone laughing and speaking in another language and then she said 3.50 so I assume she over charged me. I can tell we were not welcomed there at all and will never return! I just hate that we spent almost $80 there!

I picked up a order for Doordash. It smelled dirty and the food smelled sour. I literally gagged. They have a 81 food score and I believe it. And the lady at rhe register was rude. She seemed annoyed because I didn't realize she was telling me to put my hand on the food to take a picture. Definitely weird. I like African food, but I will never try to eat here. The smell and service turned me completely off.

Ordered from here numerous times on Uber Eats and the first few times the food was very tasty. I always got the egusi meal and efo riro. Every time I ordered, it was always a hit or miss with the meat. The meat would be tough and old. Sometimes, the stew would smell spoiled. The last time I ordered, I got food poisoning the next day after eating. This was my last time eating from here again. Unacceptable, would not recommend.

This was overpriced and not good. I ordered some catfish stew, rice, and plantains and it cost me $21. And the “catfish” wasn’t even catfish. I have no idea what kind of fish it was but it was certainly not catfish (if you’re from the south, you know what catfish bones look like). And to top it all off, the food was cold and the woman who checked me out had an attitude. Will not be coming back here.

I have visited here in the past, my husband loved the egusi and fufu. I didn't like it. I decided to give it another try, I ordered two egusi and fufu, It was really good this time around. The only thing I would have to say, is for the amount I paid the lady literally gave me a small spoon of egusi this time. It barely covered the bottom of the bowl ?. For $46 I felt like she ripped me off......

I visited here today for lunch 9-26-23. I've never tried Nigerian food before so this was my first experience. I ordered the pounded yam meal with egusi, fish, and fufu with a side of plantains. I was very happy with my meal. Everything was hot, well seasoned, great portion size and delicious!! I spend roughly $20. Highly recommend.Parking: Small parking lot but plenty of spaces on both sides. Not a busy shopping plaza so parking is not an issue.
