I guess my reference point is different. I’m Dutch and have eaten stroopwafels in the Netherlands.
These are different from Dutch stroopwafels and certainly not as a stroopwafel is meant to be, in my opinion.
The taste of the stroop is good but the texture is too chewy. Also, the cookies need to be crunchier. They are in the Netherlands.
Anyway, I do applaud the company for making these and introducing them to the USA. 👍🏻
I just had my first Dutch caramel stroopwafel at the Sandy Springs Farm Market and it was delicious. 3Bros made them fresh right before our eyes. It was hot off the griddle and the combination of the warm caramel and thin waffle was a first time great experience. Great job, guys!!🎉❤️
Just purchased a big box of Stroopwafel packages for our Dutch/American office in Woodstock GA. Love it! Nice as a goodbye gift for a temp or a customer stopping by. And especially for our own employees of course including me.
