I just got my Stroopwafels and there are as amazing as what you get in the land of giants. Truly was I surprised not only by the taste but also how many memories came back to me of walking through the Market Hall of Rotterdam.
Fresh and delicious! Never had anything like it. My mug was a little too big so I used my small tea pot and it was perfect to get the caramel soft. Yum! Nice little tin, also. I’ll reuse that for sure.

Being Dutch, but having lived in the US for close to 30 years, I have be schlepping quite some stroopwafels with me in my suitcase back to DC.I thought this ordeal was over when certain stroopwafels started to show up in grocery stores and well known coffee shops, but was soon very disappointed in how dry and tasteless these turned out to be.
