The food was good and plentiful, the chef was great. I didn't like that the chef put his hat down for a tip, which each of my party members paid 5 to 10 dollars each, and we paid the 15% gratuity, which was automatically added to our bill. I think the 15% should not be automatic if we are tipping the chef. We had a waiter and wanted to leave him a tip until we saw the 15% added to our bill.
Really enjoyed our time here. We got sushi rolls and soup and had great service. They do charge a 15% automatic gratuity but are very upfront with it and don’t ask or give you the option of an additional tip so i had no issues with it.
I enjoy Japanese food. This was our first time trying this place. The food was okay but the guy that cooked for us was so annoying 😑 He was Filipino he and talked so much that wanted ask him please be quiet. He talked so much about himself and was just too much. I think I would have enjoyed it more if he wasn't talking so much.

The friendly greeting and entertaining service from the host to the cook enhance the experience. The restaurant has ample parking and is kid-friendly, with wheelchair accessibility. This Korean-run establishment serves clean, delicious food in generous portions, making it ideal for family and friend gatherings. The hibachi dishes are highly recommended, and the attentive customer service contributes to the overall positive dining experience. Some customers have raised concerns about cross contamination, mentioning the need for different utensils when cooking raw and cooked food, as there have been stomach issues after dining. Nevertheless, many visitors find the food amazing and the service wonderful, making it a popular choice for Japanese steak and seafood on the Southside of Atlanta. Some reviews indicate that while drinks and service were above average, the food can be just okay. However, many still appreciate the fun atmosphere and good value. The salmon is noted for being cooked to perfection, and favorites like the New Orleans roll and fried rice stand out. Overall, Kiku is a beloved spot for those looking for delicious hibachi and seafood in the area.
