Food was just okay. I ordered the mashed potatoes and they tasted like they were straight out of the box. The liver and onions were okay. The best thing was the broccoli and rice casserole. I was confused as how to clean my table off when we got ready to leave and where the trays go. A lady came by and said she would take them. I assume she was the waitress so I asked about how to tip. I was told to write the tip on the receipt and she would get it. It's been two weeks and my account still only shows what I paid for dinner and not her tip. I wonder if she ever gets her tips and also why aren't we asked when we pay if we want to add a tip? I would probably return and if so order different food.

Food was tastie but they should have booths where bigger size ppl can fit. Food was luke warm and Mash potatoes were good until the after taste of medal. Atmosphere was pleasure they just need to spruce up the place a little. It feels un inviting.
My husband and I at here today. The food was very bland. The chop steak crust taste burnt, cornbread was hard, yellow rice was mushy. The ice tea labeled sweet wasn't sweet at all.The cabbage and red velvet cake were the only items that were good. However, the waitress was nice and friendly.

All in all, a satisfying dining experience. The staff is friendly and the food has been tastier lately. Consistently. My husband and I have been pleased with our date-night dinners. I would like to see improvements *outside* of the bldg as well. There needs to be lighting outdoors. That parking lot is DARK at night ??️! That's a safety issue for patrons and staff. Not to mention a lot of seniors patronize this restaurant. Lord forbid someone trips and falls over debris in the parking lot.
